Appendectomy Nightmare
I had emergency appendectomy, they left me lay in hospital for 12 hours before taking me to surgery, ended up with 3 abdominal abscesses, 2 drains, several antibiotics that ended up giving me a acute kidney injury and lastly pneumonia! Total days in the hospital 15 days!

Excellent Surgeon!
Dr. Valladares saved my life. I was admitted for an incarcerated inlingual hernia in the sigmoid colon through the ER. It was an emergency situation. Dr. Valladares told me that I needed surgery a.s.a.p. I was extremely afraid of surgery. He was so kind to me, listened to my concerns, explained my condition and the ramifications of not having the surgery. It wasn't a good senerio. Had the hernia strangulated, He the contents could spill into my abdomen and bacteria would create an infection. Dr. explained that he would have to remove part of my colon and I'd have a colostomy bag. I didn't want that so, I told him let's do it. My surgery was scheduled for 3pm. I don't remember much except waking up and it was over. I'm glad I had the surgery. I'd put it off for over a year when it was much smaller. I can't say enough good about Dr. Valladares! He's an expert in his field! If I ever need surgery again, I will not hesitate about having him do my surgery. I highly recommend him!

I have not been to his office yet. I was admitted through the ED. Once he took on my case and operated I received the best care. He discussed my condition and potential outcomes clearly. I will follow up with him in a few weeks. Wheeling is lucky to have such a brilliant surgeon.

In my 50+ years as a healthcare professional, I have rarely met a surgeon of his caliber. Dr. Valladares is not only brilliant and decisive, he is a skilled teacher, great listener, and a compassionate caregiver. This talented surgeon diagnosed my unusual condition, rushed me into emergency surgery on a Sunday night, and stayed even later afterward to reassure my family, who were quite shaken. I have no doubt he saved my life, and we will be eternally grateful.

He is a horrible person. He messed up on my grandfathers surgery and we didn't like him as a person. He wasn't caring , he didn't have sympathy for anything.
