Cares about the person, not just the patient. He is thoughtful in his approach. He is easy to contact via phone m, and always answers calls or emails. He's been my internist since c. 2012

Although he is a very nice person and is reasonably knowledgeable, his office staff never answers the phones , he never reports labs and he is more not in the office than there most recently. Part of the problem is the antiquated system at Columbia where practitioners have no personal medical assistants working with them and have to do everything on their own. It is not humanly possible for one person to do all that he needs to do. However, this impacts patient care.

He is a 'jewel' of a physician: thoughtful, analytical, keenly involved and caring with a depth of knowledge, true to the motto:" First, do no harm." He has gone to all ends in behalf of his patients' needs and welfare. Other Col. Presb. experiences have highlighted problems with the Administration System re: scheduling, re-scheduling, returning calls, billing.

I have never seen such a poorly run doctor's office. No one EVER picks up the phone. No one EVER returns calls. He cancels appointments at the last minute and it is impossible to reschedule as it is impossible to reach anyone. Request for renewal of prescription is left unheeded for weeks. He does not use the web system ("FollowMyHealth") that other doctors at the Presbyterian hospital uses that would facilitate scheduling, renewing scripts, finding test results, etc.

Worse provider I ever saw. I was so sick and was never contacted about my blood work with a glucose level of 518. Definately not worth the two month wait to see him.

My doctor recently left her practice and Dr. McGregor was her recommendation for me. I saw him for the first time yesterday and I feel very fortunate that he is now my PCP. I lost no time recommending him to my partner, who lost his PCP last year.
