Great provider, but too busy
I have been his patient for a long time. I love this doctor. But currently it is close to impossible to get an appointment. I have already been to ER at the Henderson hospital, got pain killers... still waiting for my appointment that is two months away... in pain every day. It might be something simple, but what if it was cancer... Please, please, come up with a system where 1. there is a spot at least once a week for emergency cases, 2. additional providers, 3. consult virtually. Find a way to relief Dr. Herrero.

WORST CARE EVER--NEGLIGENT
This doctor is negligent. My 86 year old father was in his care 3 weeks ago when he took a biopsy of my fathers esophageal cancer tumor and NEVER sent the request for molecular pathology to be done as promised. 3.5 weeks later, I can't get anyone from his office to call me back and when I tried to make an appointment, they said there were no appts available!!!! This doctor is fully negligent and because of his actions, my father cannot have a fully informed visit with an oncologist and is losing weight. We are in a life or death situation and this man and his staff do not care enough about their patient to even return a phone call.

Serving Patients
This guy (office) is a piece of work. He is accepting new patients but not servicing existing patients. Good luck getting an appointment if you're NOT a NEW patient.

Rude and impatient
I got the impression that he really did not want to know what issues I had. He spoke condescendingly and over the top of me when I tried to tell him what was going on. He let me ask a few questions but treated me as if I was not intelligent enough to grasp what he was saying, so he kept saying it over and over. I have some concerns that to me, are very serious, but I didn't really get a chance to speak about them before he practically pushed me out the door. He was adamant that I'd already had enough tests, as if I was a hypochondriac or something. Mind you, I avoid drs, and will only go if I have to. I was hopeful that I might find a doctor who had some compassion and who would help me figure out why my digestive system is out of whack, but this is not that doctor. And I usually like everyone, and love to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm sorry to say that I would not go back to him if given a choice.

Office staff is the worst! I spent 5 days during my lunch hour to get through to the office! One day at 415 I called and was #2 in the Que, and got disconnected at 5:05!I wanted the Dr's assistant Jonathan to call me back to see if I could have my endoscopy and colonoscopy at the same time saving me days off of work and possibly some$$ No c/b The Dr. wanted me to take this $85 prep, and I reluctantly did so I wouldn't have to miss 2 days of work. The report from the Dr. said I "didn't prepare fully for the procedure"! When I finally got Johnathan , he said why didn't I use the" free pills he had for preparation"? Believe me I would have done that had I know about it and saved myself some money. I trusted him when he told me he would call my incs. company to see why they wouldn't pay for a constipation medication and would call me back -- he didn't and gave me his extension--and didn't return my calls Also a problem about stopping meds -between office & Surgery Center.

should hire medical assistants that actually care about their job, i have been calling for my results for three months they don't even know answer the phone sometime they don't call you back the doctor can be amazing but this useless receptionist need to be on the game. So upseting. They called me after 4 months of my ultrasound I have gallstones. What if it was something critical they wait for me to die for them to call me. RIDICULOUS

Dr Herrero is a wonderful well-seasoned doctor who is approachable and friendly. I trust his decisions, and him overseeing my medical care. He's down to earth, yet focused on my health individually. The office staff is very helpful and kind, and I can always count on them to get the job done. Professional experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Dr Herrero to everyone I know and love.

today was my first time visit to Dr Herrera's office and i must admit that it became one of the most pleasant visits to a doctors office i ever had in years. Amelia was very kind to explain i had not filled out my paperwork correctly and fixed my mistakes . can't remember the other young ladies but they were all just as pleasant .i am 81 years old and in the past years i have seen many nice doctors but in all my years. Dr Herrera was the most pleasant and funniest doctor i have ever met i give it a,4 star rating only because i was not too happy with the nurse that took my blood pressure . she seemed like she had personal problems and wasn't happy doing her job. i felt a little uncomfortable with her in the room. otherwise i recommend this doctor and the staff to be the one place to when you have a Gastrological problem. i want to thank you young ladies and Dr Herrera for making my day . Had some digestive troubles and Dr. Herrero suggested a colonoscopy. He performed the colonoscopy and removed two polyps. Experienced no complications whatsoever. Would recommend him to friends and family. Getting through to the office is a little difficult, especially in the morning. But if you leave a message they have always called me back, usually in the afternoon.

This Drs office is very inconsiderate and the doctors are useless! My son lost 50 lbs in 3 months and could hardly eat.The dr told him,"I cannot make you eat".When he did an endoscopy he found food still in his stomach from 2 days prior. He ordered the gastric empty study wrong, according to Mayo Clinic and because of that my son was told he did not have gastroparesis but after test was done appropriately at Mayo Clinic,it was discovered that he does have it.DON'T GO HERE!!

Still waiting for this fool or his useless office staff to call me with lab results after almost 2 months..try calling and get on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. Gave me a colonoscopy being 70 yo and says " I WILL ONLY NEED ONLY 1 MORE AT 75 AND THEN I GRADUATE" i SAID WHAT DO YOU MEAN.... " BECAUSE AFTER THAT YOU DON'T NEED ANYMORE BECAUSE WE THINK YOU WILL THEN DIE." Is that the way to talk to a health person that doesn't require any pills , not even an aspirin or vitamin ???

He does not care about patient but money> HIs office staff terrible, he has a nurse to do his business, but the nurse has no clue about Gastroenterology. Don't recommend him to anybody. All he cares doing endoscopy or colonoscopy to get more money about the insurance company.
