Pleasant Appointment
I had my first appointment with Dr. Federico and it went very well! He was understanding and definitely pretty honest about how stimulants work, something my former doctors didn’t want to talk much about. I’d say the appointment felt a bit rushed but I didn’t really have any big issues to report besides ADHD and anxiety.

Terrible, Stay Away
I went with my 82-year old mother to visit this “doctor” because she continued to experience what seems to be arthritic pain after being prescribed a NYSAID by him. She told him of her continuing issues, and he suddenly said, “What do you want me to do? There’s nothing more I can do. You’re 82 years old, you’re old, keep moving. The other medicines (rattles off names of medications) do the same thing, I can’t give you opiates, they(meaning government) took those away, so what do you want me to do?” I looked at him in disbelief, then I asked him, “What does a rheumatologist do?” to which he replied he didn’t know. He did state during his comments that she had osteoarthritis. Then he asked her to return in three months. Why should she return in three months when there’s nothing he can do? To say what he said to an elderly patient experiencing pain is unacceptable. If this “doctor” can no longer be of help, his next step should have been to refer to a specialist. STAY AWAY!

Dr Federico is rude, not helpful, I needed paperwork filled out for my disability and his exact words to me were im glad I spent all those years in medical school to fill out paperwork. He also filled them out incorrectly which held up my claim. Do not use him as your doctor you will regret it. He never sent me to specialists for my medical issues never requested testing, it wasn't until I changed doctors that I finally saw the correct specialists and had all the testing I needed and was diagnosed correctly,, stay away from him

My experience with Dr. Federico was positive. He was pleasant and thorough (in terms of why I went to see him). He answered my questions directly with understandable explanations. I had some difficulty making an appointment but that was addressed in a satisfactory and professional manner.

I was a long time patient st this office it changed hands, so I inherited Dr. Federico. I thought I'd try the new staff and new doctors for a while. I have stayed because they do make an effort to see me promptly. I find the staff courteous and several languages are spoken aside from English which I imagine is helpful to many. Dr. Federico has taken a good deal of time to explore my issues and I've been happy with his competency. I have on occasion seen the PAs available and have been pleased.

Dr. Federico told my father he was in good health, lungs and heart were both great. He ended up with pneumonia in which he put him on "3" prescriptions of an antibiotic. Within weeks of that he was rushed to the emergency room and diagnosed with cancer and died about 4 weeks later. After many visits to his office how is this not detected? How thorough were these visits? I question whether three rounds of antibiotics lowered his immune system. Did he really have pneumonia or was it cancer????

While Dr. Federico himself is a good Dr. with patient skills his front offfice window greeter is completely incompetent . The last straw was when I reported for an appointment promplty was told that the Dr would not be in for a few hours and I could see a PA. I waited to see the PA for over an hour when other patients who arrived after me were taken. I finally went to the women at the window and said I was leaving and then received a bill for not showing up. I am finding a new Dr.
