Poor experience - would not recommend
Felt that Dr D Souza was dismissive, made assumptions about my health without thoroughly evaluating my concerns, and relied on old test results rather than considering my current symptoms. Instead of exploring possible causes for my pain, she simply recommended supplements and categorized me as a “worried well” patient. It was frustrating to feel unheard, especially when experiencing real discomfort. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Caroline D'Souza and her staff. Not only did she fail to show up for our second virtual appointment, but the front desk was rude when I called asking for information on why the Dr. wasn't present, and he never followed up, as he said. Considering the delicate matter I was seeking treatment for, it is very frustrating to be treated with such disregard. No one should have to endure such unprofessionalism and lack of care. I was never treated like that by a doctor. I strongly advise against seeking services from Dr. Caroline D'Souza and her clinic.

Great doctor
Dr. D 'Souza is such a sweet doctor and is very into how you feel and she will sit there and listen to you and try to figure out what's wrong with you and not blame it on what disease you have like other doctors. She has patients and care for you and that's what I need. I would recommend her to anyone.

I've had a great experience with Dr.D`Souza. She did a very thorough blood test work up. It made me feel like she really took her time to go through all options. She responds to my portal messages quickly. I really appreciate how she cares and took her time to explain things. It really helped me feel better about such a scary time to figure out my diagnosis.

An Important Part of my Lupus Journey
I started seeing Dr. D'Souza when I had bad Lupus flares and complications. Her ability to pivot and adapt everytime a new symptom was presented helped alleviate and control my Lupus. I am very grateful for her help. I feel the best I have in years.

Terrible. I had a virtual appointment that seemed to go well. She said she would order labs, etc. She never did. It took 8 months and me not paying my bill to get labs ordered. Got them done a month ago and have heard nothing. I’ve contacted the office several times with no response.

Best experience ever! You could tell she cared about my health! She was very professional and personable in giving me the attention and information needed to best treat me. She had all of my labs available, both past and recent, and took the time to expertly review, compare and explain them to me so that I became up to date and informed about my treatment plan and diagnosis.

Worst experience ever! Always late to appointments and evident that she does not care at all about my health. At our most recent appointment she failed to confirm receipt of the most recent labs and instead was reviewing old labs- until I corrected her mistake. Then she had no information to contribute to my treatment plan or diagnosis. After our last appointment and after she had finally received the current labs, I emailed asking for explanation of the results and treatment. Her response was simply to wait to our next appointment- in 3 months!

I have selected five stars because there aren’t any more to select. Dr. D’Souza has been patiently working with me until she has created the right treatment for my RA. She listens and understands when I share with her my symptoms. She prescribed the right drugs for my treatment. I feel that I am getting my life back. More than my Rheumatologist, Dr. D’Souza is a friend.
