Dr. Caroline Glicksman, MD

I experienced a postoperative staph infection while under the care of Dr. Glicksman, which went untreated for two weeks and ultimately necessitated three additional surgeries within the following 12 months. Additionally, a different size implant than the one I consented to was used during the initial surgery. The experience of losing a breast implant, enduring a staph infection for two weeks, and undergoing repeated revision surgeries has significantly impacted my physical well-being, emotional state, and financial stability. I tried to resolve this issue directly with Dr. Glicksman by requesting a refund for the two surgeries she performed, but my request was denied. I intended to use the funds to help cover the costs of the two additional surgeries necessitated by the infection. Her lack of accountability and compassion throughout this traumatic experience has been incredibly disheartening. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others considering her services.

I was highly disappointed with Dr. Glicksman. I was required to pay $250 for a consultation fee. She was not nice to me at all. When I explained that I keloid, she discredited me and everything that I said. She didn't realize that I was also a doctor. Dr. Glicksman is extremely expensive. She doesn't take insurance and requires a $500 nonrefundable deposit. Beware!

Dr. Glicksman put in the time to make sure I really understood what was going to happen during and after my procedure. She listened to my expectations, made sure that I understood what would be and wouldn’t be possible to deliver, and overall I am incredibly happy that I chose her as my surgeon. I came out looking just how I wanted, and the follow up care has been great. I’d recommend her to anybody undergoing breast augmentation without hesitation.

I was a patient of Dr. Glicksman from several years back. I had an accident and cut my eye badly and needed to get stitches at the hospital. I called her office requesting a call back so that I could send her a picture of the work done, to get her approval and or opinion if I need to be seen for a correction. She did not return my call. I called a second time 6 hours later requesting if she does not have the time to get back to me could she recommend another plastic surgeon that could. Never heard a response back again. Finally I wrote to the office explaining the situation again and that I needed some help. She Finally responded via email saying that she doesn’t do any emergency work or consultations and that the hospital should have given me a list of other surgeons which they did not. Not even at that moment did she have a suggestion for me. I was very disappointed in her for the way she handled this. Don’t count on her if you need her. Very disappointed. Poor communication.

I had breast reduction surgery by Caroline Glicksman in June. After having appointments with various surgeons I decided to schedule my surgery with her. One of the reasons was because she's a woman, and I think women have a better idea of what a natural breast look like, but the other more important reason is that she said "no" to me. The other doctors had "sold" me on some additional procedures in conjunction with the reduction that sounded great (GalaFlex mesh and liposuction on sides). In her opinion these were not only unnecessary but could cause unwanted results and possible complications. I am so thankful she told me and that I decided use for her to do my procedure. I could not be more thrilled with the results. I had some asymmetry which is gone and my breasts look like they did when I was a teenager. After the surgery I had soreness and discomfort but no pain. I can't thank Dr. Glicksman enough for helping me achieve what I thought was impossible. Three years ago, I underwent breast surgery to correct the asymmetry that I had lived with for years. The biggest difference with her office is how kind she was and how much time she spent with me and my Mom before the procedure. She definitely directed me towards very safe surgery. I have been back to see her every year since my procedure for my annual check-ups and the office staff, especially Kait, always puts up with me when I have to change an appointment. There is no doubt that she really cares about her patients.

To say I was anxious is an understatement. It turned out amazingly well! I am mid 50's and had a few children, gained and lost weight through out the years & left me with a little more extra skin than I wanted in my belly area. I contemplated for a long time on whether I was worthy enough to "get my belly done". One morning I woke up and told myself it's time. Did research & visited quite a few prospective surgeons for about a year never feeling quite comfortable with any of them. I met with Dr. Gicksman & knew immediately she was the one! She took the time to explain everything to me. No rushing. No pressure. No BS. Very straight forward. Professional. Funny. Loves what she does. She is selective with her patients, ie; she's not going to perform procedures that she feels isn't right for them. It's not about the $$ for her. It's about the (healthy) end result for her patient. I've seen women who've had tummy tucks and the scars alone were scary. I made the right chioce. I do it again!!

Breast Reconstruction: If you are looking for the best, look no further. Dr. Glicksman is beyond amazing. I am proud to say she is my surgeon. She is so knowledgeable and will make you feel so comfortable. I just had my second surgery with her. I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Glicksman, she is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, very thorough planning your surgery. Truly cares about her patients, I never felt rushed during my consult. It was a very easy choice selecting her for my B.A. The office is beautiful & tasteful, the girls at the front desk are very knowledgeable and courteous as well, they will answer any additional questions you have by phone or email. I met with several doctors for consultations regarding a breast augmentation. However, no one even came close to comparing to Dr. Glicksman. It is obvious how much she cares about her patients. It is easy for a surgeon to just put it in any size implant and rush a patient out of the door. But that is not the case with Dr. Glicksman. Dr. Glicksman is willing to discuss any& every possible question a client may have and does everything in her power to make them feel comfortable.

Dr. Glicksman is knowledgeable, precise and makes patients feel comfortable. I came into the office wanting to do a minor modification. She explained her recommendation clearly and simply, so I felt comfortable with the process. Overall, I am beyond thrilled with the results. I went to Dr. Glicksman for a consult in Cool Sculpting. She spent a lot of time talking to me and took her time in the appointment. She was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable. After the procedure she made sure she followed up and took before and after pictures. After 6 weeks Im loving my results! Highly recommend her for any service in plastic surgery!

My initial visit with Dr. Glicksman was to discuss my saline implants, which are over 25 years old. I had concerns that they may need to be replaced. After a visit that lasted about one hour (with my husband in the room asking questions), we decided to wait until they required action since there are no current issues.
