I have not seen Dr. Johnston in a few years; she took care of me after ovarian cancer with the follow up to make sure that I remained cancer-free. She is a very pragmatic, no-nonsense kind of person who is warm and supportive. I highly recommend her

Dr Johnston is simply the best ! S he is more than a doctor. We had complete trust in her decisions and treatments. Her compassion for my wife's welfare was beyond good. She was always there for us and i thank her. This is a person that cares ! On many occasions she went far out of her way to see my wife. thank you Dr J !

I trust this woman with my life!!! If you have to have an oncologist, she is THE one. She gives the most pain-free, comfortable exams you could imagine and is straight to the point. She tells you what you need to hear but also explains why you need to hear it. I cannot every put in to words what a wonderful doctor she is. She genuinely cares about her patients and I feel very fortunate to have her as my oncologist.

Dr. Johnston is a very friendly and personable physician. She explained her impressions of my medical status in clear terms. She answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed at all. In talking with her it was my impression that she Is knowledgeable and skilled in her field. In my particular situation, she was more up date on research and recommended treatment for my medical status, than my original GYN oncologist (in another state).. I would most definitely recommend her to others.

I would highly recommend Dr. Johnston to any family member or friend needing her oncology expertise. She saved my life and I appreciate the work she and her staff are doing. As with most hospitals, you will also be dealing with residents, students, etc. but how can you object when they will be the lifesavers of tomorrow.

Dr. Johnston is one of the most attentive, skilled, passionate doctors I have ever had. I highly trust her advice although she is very open to the fact that this is the patient's decision. She gives me more time than I expect and offers resources to me frequently. Her staff is also highly professional. Thank goodness for people and physicians like Dr. Johnston.

Exceptionally poor communication. She does not return calls, does not allow the physician covering her while she is away to make any decisions, and generally ignores patients unless she feels SHE needs to see them. During ER visits and hospital admissions she blatently ignores consult requests from other doctors to see her patients, and does not return calls. Post admission visits are impossible to schedule. No compassion, no empathy. Poor bedside manner. Bullies her staff.
