Rude and dismissive to my needs
I find her rude and dismissive- I was there for an issue I feel she didn’t think was important enough for her time - however it was very important to me. My very good UVA Derm Doc was on maternity leave at the time so I got an appointment with her. She barely looked at the part of my body with the issue and then said “well you can get an OTC and try that”. When I asked how to use it - she really didn’t know! She has church music playing her her waiting room but doesn’t act the part. Sort of reminds me of being some sort of Mennonite religion which tells me enough. I would especially not recommend taking a teen or child to her as it would scar their self esteem for sure. I will stay with UVA. Hard to get in but they know their stuff and are very professional. Not sure how this woman is still in business. Oh and can I add - I took my elderly mom there one time and had the same experience. I was just hoping that visit was a fluke. Nope that’s her.
