Dr Laborde is an excellent listener and has an excellent bedside manner. She involves the parents in the care of the child but treats the child directly -- looking at the child and acting as though the child is the most important one in the room. Great balance of being aware that the parents make or heavily influence the child's decision. She is straightforward and honest, balancing truth of challenging situations with hopeful treatment plans. We could not have asked for a better fit for our family. She's amazing and should train future pediatric oncologists!!!

My daughter recently saw her for an iron transfusion. her bedside manners are wonderful, especially when dealing with teenagers. She's very explanatory and answers any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend her!
