Dr. Carrie Salvia, DO

Attentive and thorough.

Dr. Salvia was very kind and compassionate, and has a great bedside manner -- however she ordered a test for a specialist that should have been completed at her office. This resulted in an unnecessary two month delay, and extra, unnecessary co pays, and time off. To top it all off, she left the practice with no notice to patients. I would not choose to see her again based on this experience.

My husband had an appointment scheduled for 9:15 we arrived by 9:25 because there was traffic. He needed this appointment and we both took off work and made the half hour trip from the suburbs and were late due to traffic. Dr. Salvia had already moved on to another patient and they told us we would have to reschedule. They said we were not in the grace period, when the grace period was 10 minutes and we clearly were. It’s obvious that Dr. Salvia double booked her patients and had no intention of seeing my husband. Absolutely ridiculous and unfair will not be returning to this office ever again.

Dr Salvia is a very caring, concerned physician. She cares about her patients and is very attentive to changes in your health and is always able to offer alternatives for better health.
