Dr Meyers was absolutely great, I had a 3X bypass at Halifax in 2/21 and I couldn’t compliment Dr. Meyers and his entire team. Would highly recommend 5 Star all the way around

CABG x3
Dr Meyers may not have the best bedside or office manners but he has hands from god. My surgery was a difficult case due to the locations of the blockages. Absolutely no post op issues or complications and went from day of surgery to first day back at work in 33 days. I would give him 10 stars. Just wanted to say “ thanks Doc “ great job.

If not for Dr Meyers I would not be here writing this, and feeling great. He had to do emergency surgery on my heart. What was to be a triple bypass turned into much more because of his expertise he saw an additional problem that could have been missed.

Surgery did not go well, I was unable to speak for a few days and confused for 4 more days. Dr Meyers called my daughter day of surgery, stated it was worse than he expected and my poor outcome was due to my being an alcoholic. My daughter was appalled, as I don't drink, then Dr. tried to blame it on a stroke, which it also wasn't. Finally, 10 weeks later the Dr. decided to blame reaction to Anesthesiologist. Dr. Meyers did dot even follow me post op with all complications. Ended up in hospital again in March 2022 with 1.5L fluid on right lung. Once again I am sick and unable to cope. I'm young

Dr. Meyers reviewed a PET scan of mine and determined that I had lung cancer, scheduled a surgery to remove a lobe in my lung, when I asked about doing a biopsy he told me that he removes the lobe and If I asked 100 other surgeons they would all tell me this was the treatment, ( those words will forever ring in my mind) I left terrified, decided to get another opinion even though this was the 4th medical person that had told me it was lung cancer. I called another clinic and met with a surgeon there. At first glance from this Dr. he told me he would not do surgery without a biopsy and by reading the PET scan he was not convinced it was cancer, ( those words will forever ring in my mind) the biopsy revealed no lung cancer, a very bad infection but no lung cancer, all of this took about 50 days or so that I lived in fear of this diagnosis from a very arrogant Doctor that I believe has lost the reason why he went into medicine or maybe he never had it. Be your own advocate, always.
