Encouraged me to have surgery on my finger and made the finger more crooked. Would not recommend.

Very good doctor!
He has been on time for every appointment. I have never waited mor than 10 minutes to see Dr. and that includes waiting room & exam room. Scheduling is very easy. Never a wait to see doctor. Smoothest moving office I’ve seen in a long time (and I’m a retired nurse from another area). He and his staff are very professional. His P.A.’s are very wonderful and caring. I even had one call me Christmas Day as she was walking into church. Absolutely amazing!!

The Non-Consultation
The only information I got was from his website AFTER I finally got home. He was two hours late and he wasn't interested in explaining anything about my treatment options. The notes on the website say he "recommended ultrasound guided right thumb CMC injection". He never recommended anything! I asked for the shot because it was the only option I already knew something about (although I didn't know an ultrasound would be involved in his procedure). He never explained what was going to happen, just said, "little pinch now", "little pinch now", "little pinch now" as he stuck the needle in my gel covered thumb. The only interest he had was getting me to buy a hand brace I didn't need. Otherwise he basically just blew me off. Now I have to find another doctor and see if my insurance will cover the same procedure twice since the shot didn't take care of the problem. Dr. Burke didn't bother to tell me what to do if it didn't work. Probably my fault since I didn't buy the the brace.

In reading these reviews, I think the people leaving them must have him mixed up with another doctor! I've been seeing Dr. Burke for 4 years for a couple of problems, including recently for carpal tunnel surgery. I have never waited for an appointment more than 10 minutes, usually less. His support staff are just fabulous, without exception - professional, knowledgeable, caring and friendly. As to any arrogance, Dr. Burke is the least arrogant surgeon I've ever known, and I worked in the health arena for many years and know a lot of them - that's why I picked him.

Very unprofessional.I was scheduled for surgery, had all preadmission and covid testing done, arrived for 7am, and was told by the nurse that Doctor wanted to talk to me on the phone. He says your surgery is rescheduled, someone from the office will call you to reschedule, but not sure when!! No explanition?? Would never recommend this doctor!!

He did carpal tunnel surgery on me and I had to go find a new Dr to fix it. 3 people just from where I work had surgery by him and all 3 had to go have revision surgery done to fix what he messed up.

Horrible, so very unprofessional. My husband asked him a question and the doctor got very rude, like no one else but the patient can ask a question. Needless to say we left and found a better doctor. I would not recommend him to a corpse. Given one star because we have too rate this quack.

Would not recommend him to anyone. He was called in from ER on my sons case for infection of his hand following a dog bite , apparently this hand specialist never looked at X-ray that already showed bone infection and was treating him with physical therapy . Ending up with operation , bone destruction and just thankful we got him to a qualified Dr when we did .

I had both carpal tunnel done and feel like a new person. Slight wait to be seen but in the grand scheme waiting is a small price to pay for the relief I finally feel. I struggled for years with my pain, after 1 appointment with Dr. Burke he knew what was wrong and the steps to recovery began immediately. Extremely satisfied.

Had a freak accident on Monday night and was already in surgery by Tuesday afternoon. His staff is courteous and friendly. He explains intricacies, which is helpful. I find Dr. Burke and his staff to be excellent, and would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Burke for caring.

HAD 10 SURGERY WITH other ORTHO BUT NEVER AN INFECTION . After Dr Burke OR I am sick with Infection in my hand . It hurts constantly and is very swollen. On my first post operative visit 3 days after surgery I complained to Dr Burke that I was ill. Dr Burke disagreed saying I was fine. He said "I never had an Infection after this Surgery". I immediately went to ER .I required hospitalization of a rapidly spreading CELLULITIS for my hand to my upper arm. I still have UGLY OPEN Hand wound. 3 week
