Dr. Casey Hager, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Hager since 2010 when I had a heart attack. He is a thoughtful and patient physician. He has always met me on an intellectual level and not talked down to me like many doctors to do with older patients. I never feel rushed with him, and he addresses all my questions fully. He moved from So. Charleston to Madison a few years ago, and I drive nearly an hour to see him now. And will continue to do so - he's worth the trip.

Saved my mother's life. Took a lot of time with her. He left Charleston. She is disappointed about that. She wished Dr. Hager would have told her. She got shoved to another Dr. Sattar. Don't know about him yet.

Has been seeing me for a long time. Good bedside manner, spends time with me and answers all my questions and seems to really enjoy what he does. He’s a busy physician and has a pretty full schedule, but it doesn’t seem like he is in a hurry

Dr. Hager is an excellent physician. He is very intelligent and has a wonderful bedside manner. Definitely recommend seeing him!

He is incredibly down to earth, respectful, and intelligent. He explained everything to me, and walked me through the care step by step. He gave me great advice on follow up and how to prevent future problems. I have been to several physicians and he is by far the best.

Dr Hager was highly recommended, and I was very pleased when I met him and he discussed my issues with me. He took a lot of time to explain things to me and my family, and had great bedside manner.

I had an appointment with Dr. Hager recently, meeting him for the first time. I was formerly a patient of Dr. Duffy in the same office. I was a little disappointed because he seemed like he was in a hurry. He seemed to think my recent afib episode was just anxiety about coming to the doctor's office. I was not anxious at all. He did answer my questions.

This is the worst office I have ever dealt with in any field. They don't turn their phones on until over an hour after they open, and turn them off one to two hours before they close. They don't take messages "after" hours and they don't return messages left in the middle of the day. They try to pressure to sign forms stating that you've received certain pieces of paperwork (like privacy statements) and then refuse to provide the paperwork when asked. The dr is ok, but the staff isn't worth it.

He absolutely saved my mothers life. Excellent care and follow up. He genuinely cares about his patients. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dr Hager comes highly recommended. He is very Professional, Intelligent , Caring and takes time with his cases. With his busy schedule , he still has time to explain your health.

He was competant but displayed very poor patient consideration. He was impatient when answering questions and suggested I was taking too much of his time. He didn't care if I understood what my problem was or if I was clear about his proposed treatment. It was as if-- he is the doctor and I should do as he says, no questions. I was not about to trust my life and health to such a crass Doctor.
