Very pleasant experience. She’ll sit down and actually listen to you. She takes her time and doesn’t rush. You can tell she genuinely care

Dr McCain, Is the best doctor that our family has ever had. If you are looking for a doctor that has integrity, professionalism, patience, and has the best bed side manners, which is absent from most doctors today, she is the doctor for you. I want to address some of the negative comments left by others. Our family drives over 60 miles to see Dr McCain, at one appointment I was 20 minutes late, and was told I would have to reschedule. Her office gives you a 10 minute grace period at 11 minutes you are automatically removed from the schedule. Did I hold her accountable, NO! Why should patient’s that have previously scheduled, be inconvenienced, because of my mistake. I guarantee, this has never happened again. I generally arrive earlier than my scheduled appointment, and can be seen early. I have never been rushed by Dr. McCain, she generally comes in sits down and listen. Most of the time she is with me 20 minutes or more. This is what I love about her practice. She listen and tries to find the best solution to your health issues. In 2020 my father died and my mother, who has Alzheimer’s, and brother, who is intellectually disabled, moved to Texas to live with my husband and I. This created a strain physically, mentally and spiritually on us, Dr McCain, has been a tremendous help with sorting out, the next steps. When Dr McCain, explained to me that, finding them skilled living, is not a failure, but love, in seeking out the skilled care they need, I knew she was the RIGHT doctor for us. She really cares about her patients.

If you are one minute late your appointment will be cancelled, but she can take 15-30 min before she comes in to see you after the appointment time and spend 10 minutes with you. This office is not patient or customer service friendly, highly disappointed!!! There are definitely 100s of other doctors to choose from, go elsewhere!! Use the 15 minute grace not 9 minutes very strict and rude!

Worst doctor ever
I’m not sure where to begin with, but I was really frustrated when I figure it out as Hispanic speaker that her nurses wasn’t allowed to speak Spanish with any one, they were afraid of her. As Hispanic I felt humiliated, but at the same time I feel sorry for her because as an African-American She knows discrimination that for years and years, Hispanic, and African-American we been receiving. How she there to do the same thing to other. So sad to know that persons like her existent in this world. The worst part is that she took an oath to serve and protect people lives. I certainly don’t want to put my life or My health in this person hands. May the Lord forgive her.

All about the $$$!
I needed a refill on a SSRI and she refused to give me one because of wanting that almighty copay. This doctor cares about the money and not about me as a patient.

I would not recommend Dr. McCain to any human being. Her staff is very unprofessional and she’s unprofessional as well. The office overcharged my husband and sent several bills to him after a five minute visit. Also, my husband was a few minutes late once due to bad weather and Dr. McCain’s office sent him a electronic bill. I’ve never known any doctor to bill a patient because of tardiness but my husband has always been on time for his appointments except for the one time but, he waits 20 minutes to see Dr. McCain. We should send their office a bill. Her and her staff are scammers.

Went in for a physical. I am blessed to be in good health so this was routine only. I was billed extra because she asked about the appearance of my neck. I explained to her that since a childhood my neck has had a lump that was tested and totally fine. She billed extra for discussing my neck. When I inquired about the extra charge to the 100% covered visit (insurance allows 1 physical per year no charge), I was told that the routine physical became a sick exam when she discussed my neck.

Had a horrible experience. I came down with the flu and went in and saw Dr McCain on a Friday. For whatever reason, she didn’t think it was the flu and recommended I take a round of antibiotics. I asked for a flu test, but she stated she didn’t do those. (?????). I asked for a step test (my throat was so sore and swollen I literally couldn’t eat) and her response was “Why, I am prescribing antibiotics which would take care of it anyway”. By Monday AM, my son tested positive for the flu...from me

i wouldn't recommend her at all. i sent my husband in for a physical he is about to turn 50 we are just trying to stay on top of our heath and see what we needed to do. she never actually even touched him. nothing had a nurse take some blood and that was it. thanks for the waste of time and money. he asked her to look at a skin spot on his leg she blew it off, asked about what test we should be looking at getting she says you aren't 50 yet (a couple months shy) about a hearing dr. nothing...
