Dr. Cassondra Majestic, MD

Back in July I experienced symptoms consistent with a TIA and Dr. Majestic was my attending. As a patient, especially in a medical emergency I have no need to disclose I'm a Clinician-Scientist, Clinical Neuroscientist, PhD. The stroke work up was textbook perfectly performed. When it was determined the issue wasn't vascular, Dr. Majestic without hesitation began ordering tests that are designed to identify hard to find irregularities. I received appropriate and timely pain management, adjusting as necessary. Dr. Majestic wanted to admit me to the hospital and had I made prior arrangements for my family I would've done so as that was the right move. Is Dr. Majestic the most warm and fuzzy ER doc, no but she's brilliant and not intellectually lazy like many Docs that are the 'warm and fuzzy' type.

She has 0 empathy for her patients I has previously had pancreatitis and was in the hospital for 3+ days. Came back because I was in so so much pain the very next day. Dr.Majestic blew me off said "you don't have pancreatitis".... Then why was i hospitalized previously and starved? Just terrible... avoid her at all costs if you want actual help. The nurse had to come in and tell her yes I did have pancreatitis but she still did NOTHING! I went home and lost over 10 pounds in one week, puking 24/7 AS I HAD PANCREATITIS!!!!! Dr.Majestic has 0 empathy and should NOT be an ER doctor.

Today , we went to ER, I don’t know why such a doctor with no experience could be in the ER! We waiting 5 hours This doctor has no patience Today, neither did we get any medicine but she old us to go home as if it was fine.

Had a pancreatitis episode and she did not believe me. I was in incredible pain, it took the nurse going over my records to realize oh i wasn't making it up. But still she did nothing... Would give 0 stars if I could. I almost went home and almost died.

This doctor saw my baby on Saturday and took very lightly a slide injury even after I insisted my daughter was in pain and discomfort and not herself. But she ordered minimum x rays and ENCOURAGED my 17 month TO WALK while she had a BROKEN TIBIA! She has been in pain for 4 days until today when I was able to see a specialist that told me this kind of fracture is a common toddler fracture. She didn’t even suspect or investigated for that. Horrible. Just horrible.

On April 2, 2020, I went to the ER at Hoag for a fever and extreme pain in my abdomen which kept getting worse. Dr. Majestic seemed annoyed that I was even there. After a few minutes, Dr. Majestic came back, stated there is blood in my urine and calcium deposits…"you’re passing kidney stones" and sent me home. Never examined me, never touched my abdomen for any abnormalities. I was transported to Hoag where I was told I had bacteria in my blood which was now sepsis. I was treated with strong pain medications and multiple strong antibiotics for 7 days. I have filed a claim with the medical board.

Absolutely horrible, this lady had absolutely no idea what she was doing. She is a danger to every other patient who sees her. She’s more interested in what ever is on her phone than caring for the patients she’s supposed to see.

Absolutely horrible! I dislocated my knee and she was very rude to me telling me to calm down, worst pain of my life way more than several days of labor. My knee was out of place for 3 hours. I talked to an ER doctor later and they said she should have put my knee put back in place right when I came in the door on the gurney. She did 2 X-rays and said she was still finding nothing and wanted to run more costly tests. My husband is a PT and had to instruct her on what to do. Not Majestic!

The worst. She was my ER doctor at Hoag/was admitted for abdominal/pelvic/ovarian cyst pain. Very rude, lacks basic bedside manner, abrasive and clearly can care less about a patient. I had to basically argue with her and advocate all the reasons why an ultrasound was necessary. I had to insist that she order ultrasound and conduct a pelvic exam, she did it very reluctantly, with a huge attitude. I really hope she learn to listen to patients. Ugh, stay away! It was a traumatic experience!

Really wish I could give her no stars at all. Straight up rude, cold, and not compassionate at all. Came into the ER with serious hemorrhaging problems and all I was given was Tylenol until an hour before my discharge when she finally gave me something to suppress the bleeding. Don’t go to medical school if you don’t actually care about people. No one who goes to the ER needs that kind of energy. We’re already suffering enough without her service thrown in the mix.

Cold, arrogant and uninterested. Also not good at diagnosing simple conditions, causing much unnecessary suffering to the patient. Avoid if possible.
