Dr. Catherine Cosentino, MD

I can’t be more happy and appreciative with Dr. Consentino! I feel extremely comfortable with the type of surgery she and her staff performed on my 2 1/2 year old daughter! The 1st surgery was done during the week of Christmas last year (2019) and was to place a port on her chest, te second surgery was for a Nephrectomy (removal of right kidney) also a placement of a G-tube! My daughter is safe thanks to Dr Consentino and all her team of Doctors she takes her time, she explains the procedure in a manner that we understand and she is a Doctor that pays attention to detail! We (me and my family) love her, respect her and we recommend her to any friend and family!

This Doctors office is aweful and I would not recommend using her unless you want to be sent to collections. My son's bill for $61 was sent to collections after 30 days. This is very quick for medical billing. I tried to pay collections and they won't accept HSA accounts and now the bill is $86. The office refused to work with me and accept my payment. I can't imagine treating a patient or customer like that. Especially when they are trying to pay you. I wish that I could find a good Dr.

We had an emergency appendectomy done on our 6 year old at TMC. Even though she is not very friendly I have to say she is the BEST, per the nurses (everyone hands down). Even the nurse she treated poorly recommended her as the BEST. Don't expect any "warm and fuzzies" out of this woman, but do know she is considered the BEST.

We met Dr. Cosentino when our 2 day old son was transported to the NICU in a very stressful situation. At first we were scared off by her, but she performed a difficult surgery for our son's rare condition incredibly well. She recognized when my wife and I were running ragged and offered encouragement early on. Follow ups were frequent and every interaction has been wonderful. I highly recommend her for her skills, knowledge, and kindness.

Dr. Cosentino is great.

She was excellent in her explanation of why our little one needed surgery. TMC pediatrics just couldn't have done anything better. They were patient with our four year old, and even let him drive a car back into the operating room! It is REALLY difficult to get in to see her or I would have given 5 stars! It took us a month for the initial visit, and she told us she wanted to see him in 2 weeks post op, it is another month to see her again. Perhaps she can look at her scheduling and modify.

Dr. Cosentino was amazing. She explained everything, was very caring to not only our 9 month old daughter, who was the one having the surgery, but also to my husband and I. She also made sure the staff taking care of my daughter after the surgery was up to speed. My daughters surgery went very well and she recovered quickly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cosentino.
