She always rushing through my appts . Never lets me to talk . Also when lab results come back abnormal she doesn’t contact you to let you know anything she’ll have you wait till the appt date . Due to her always rushing and lack of communication it makes I don’t think I’d recommend her

Have been a patient of Dr. Catherine Waud's for over 20 years for several medical issues. Dr. Waud is extremely competent - very thorough - and has been 100% on time for every appointment. I have recommended Dr. Waud in the past to friends who would benefit from her services and they are very pleased with her, and will do so in the future.

She is highly qualified in her specialty. She is thorough and no-nonsense. I have been her patient for 20 years. She is abrupt and often interupts her patients when she doesn't want to hear what they are saying. I have seen and heard her rudeness to her staff. Would I switch from her? No I feel she is the best endocrinologist in the area. Just don't feel bad if she is brusque with you.

I have been going to Dr. Waud for years and I love, love, love her. She is all business, for sure, but when it comes to quality care and having someone you trust to be on top of things, I wouldn't recommend anyone over her. If you want hand holding, go elsewhere. If you want someone you can trust with your life, go see Dr. Waud.

I am happy that I did not go online and find reviews of Dr. Waud prior to my appointment. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new endocrinologist. I jumped on my insurance website and picked the closest doctor to my house. If I had read the reviews before my visit I would have been terrified. Well, I can personally say these reviews are far from being correct. Dr. Waud was extremely professional and clearly knows her field. I would recommend her and look forward to building a report.

Dr Waud is rude and condescending, she thinks that she is better than her patient! She prides herself on being smarter than anyone else! She makes her patients feel bad about themselves, especially if you are overweight! She should not be allowed to practice!

Dr Waud is rude, demeaning, and insulting, incredibly arrogant, and of very little help. She thinks she is better than you. She does not even want to hear the patients voice, thoughts, or concerns. She treats the patient as if they are absolutely stupid. t. She was unprofessional.

I found her perfunctory , as many do, though they simply call her rude and arrogant. I went through a battery of tests, some of which were out of range. Despite this, she essentially told me she'd take me off my meds and refused to prescribe the med I've used successfully for over 10 years for a condition that is lifelong. She is by the book and rigid and, her inability to discuss with the patient her method of treatment and reasoning makes her ineffective as a physician. Find a better Dr.

I found Dr. Waud to be a thorough and knowledgeable physician. She asked lots of question and explained everything that she wanted to investigate in a very understandable way. The staff was terrific & there was no wait time!

Dr Waud is extremely thorough and follows through, even after the visit. She even called my pcp's office to request additional testing several weeks after my second appointment. She takes a personal interest but also clearly expects the patient to do so as well and expects compliance appropriately. Excellent care with no sugar coating. I trust this Dr completely and I have all but lost my faith in Dr's.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Waud?
There is no likelihood that I would recommend Dr Waud. I did not feel confident in her care whatsoever. Her demeanor is short, she does not take the time to listen, and she was not accurate on information. Due to the possibility of cancer I expressed concern over her saying that there was no rush to remove my thyroid , her abrupt reply was, you don't die from thyroid cancer be it as it may, this was very unprofessional and not reassuring to a patient.

Dr. Waud is excellent, no-nonsense, and has an eye for details that other doctors I've had have missed. Of the six endocrinologists I've seen over the years, she's the best.
