I had a stroke and was referred to Dr. Sila. for follow up. She was very kind and listened and seemed to really understand my concerns. She addressed each and every one of my questions, and I had a list of them. Each of my appointments is very prompt and provides me with a plan for the next steps. She encourages calls to her office if there are any issues.

Was sent to her to determine if I was at risk for stroke or aneurysm due to what looked like a blockage in one of the arteries in my brain. I was not only told that it was an artifact on the scan, but that I must have moved, and that I was too young for it, and that my symptoms (hearing loss, dizziness, fullness in ear, pain in head, constant tinnitus) must have been psychosomatic. She did not order any further tests or determine that anything further should be done. I went for a third opinion and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Not only was her lack of attention the cause for a longer wait on diagnosis, her bedside manner is atrocious and absolutely inappropriate.

This was the craziest encounter ever with a Neurologist. She said that my daughters symptoms were not neurological but all because she didnt have a life plan. That perhaps if she had a plan on where her life was going that she wouldn't have any issues. Never addressed my daughters actual issues to which we were referred to her for. Then asked me to leave the room so they could speak to her alone (she is almost 20, so no big deal) my daughter said she just sat there for a bit and stared at her then asked if there was anything she wanted to tell her, she said no. Then asked her if she felt safe at home, she said yes. Then asked her if she drank alcohol or did drugs, she said no. Then she was asked "not even pills? Do you do pills?" Which she was like Noooo! Then the Dr Sila said I just don't know what's wrong with you, do you know what's wrong with you?? Then sat there in silence again staring at her. Told her she needed to make a daily planner and get a counselor. What a waste of time

My family member had a stroke and Dr. Sila kept insisting she didn't. Found out MRI results were on another patient. Dr. Sila basically accused my family member of lying about symptoms and found out from another doctor Dr. Sila wrote disparaging things in the permanent chart. New doctor was willing to share this info because he said my family member did indeed have a stroke and is nothing like what Dr. Sila said. Dr. Sila caused unnecessary emotional distress.

I was referred to Dr. Sila back in October 2015, The problem started at the beginning of my visit; I was told I did not have an appointment and they wanted me to reschedule. I played the receptionist the phone message I received confirming my appointment the office nurse came out in a waiting room full of people and continued to tell me I was here on the wrong day. Dr. Sila came in exam room and told me her day was already busy enough, now this. I felt she was abrasive and cold; not impressed.
