I had a bad UTI and called for some antibotics. Would not call some in; had to be seen. On the visit she was not in and I did a urine sample. Her office called in a script but did not tell me what it was. It turned out to be a 3 day supply of cipro 250. Well that seemed to work for a day or so but the infection came back with a vengeance over a weekend. I have never had cipro 250 prescribed for just 3 days. It has always been cipro 500 for 5 days or 250 for 7 days. Her protocol has caused me a great deal of discomfort and to go to an urgent care facility to get my problem resolved.

STAY AWAY!!! RUN!!! Seeking a VBAC, she was the first doctor I saw when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd baby. I was trying to explain my first pregnancy and she simply didn't listen to me. She went on to say my pelvis was too narrow... umm nooo!!! She sat there with perfect makeup, perfect hair and was so cold towards me. I call her a devil in a white coat.... BTW I did have my natural VBAC with another VERY supportive doctor in BIrmingham.

Dr. Stradtman has been my doctor for over 20 years. She is a compassionate physician with strong diagnostic skills. She has always taken time to discuss my medical concerns and options for treatment. I have recommended her to friends in the past and I would recommend her now.

Dr. Stradtman's staff was not courteous. The nurse seemed to have an attitude. Her assistant refused to get the additional information that I requested regarding my supplements. Finally, the bed/chair for my exam had some "fluid" on it (I assume from the previous patient) which is very unsanitary. Dr. Stradtman was "okay" but I felt that she should have analyzed my urine sample prior to my departure since I told her that I was trying to conceive vs. waiting several days for the blood test.

Dismissed a severe pain I was having as not being associated with a medicine I was taking. Later discovered it was directly correlated. Her attitude was very dismissive and she seemed unknowledgeable about the drug....at least taking the symptoms seriously. I had to get a second and third opinion, both of which told me my symptoms were indeed directly related to the drug.

I went to see this doctor for abdominal pain and she simply laughed and said it was just cramping. She refused to do an ultrasound and a week later I was in the ER for a ruptured ovarian cyst!

After having several male doctors simply indicate that my problem was something that I needed to just live with, she discovered that I had a golf ball size benign tumor in my uterus that was causing my issue of spotting, heavy flow, off and on for over a year. I was back home after an overnight stay in the hospital following a vaginal hysterectomy and by Friday of the same week, I was able to drive and do consulting work again.
