Dr. Celestine Jain-Ofoma, MD

This location doesn’t have what and who I need for my care. The main location confirmed that besides me already knowing. One thing is it’s level 2, I need level 4 hospital. She was poorly prepared for the appointment. Even though other employees saw my information, she told me she doesn’t have it. Then she told me her location has what I need, when it actually does not. Then she asked what specialist I need to see. She doesn’t understand my need for a team and higher level care. If she had been prepared, she would’ve easily known that. I have specialists, but I’m too complex and diseases are progressive, in all my body’s systems. My ex primary did a big no no when he ignored my specialists and sent me to her. I’m the one paying for it. The other location I need confirmed we were right and baffled I was sent there. At least I’m established with their care system now. One good thing is that she was nice (minus lying)

She is always thorough with her visit and explains everything very well

I found Dr Ofoma very rude, dismissive and not helpful at all. I left the appointment in tears. This is straight out of her profile on mayos website. “Management of patients with complicated medical problems and complex medically unexplained symptoms” So, since this basically describes me I was VERY excited to have her as my doctor. I thought, finally someone who can help me feel better and try to get my life back. It took months to get in with her and everything I brought up she said she couldn’t help with that and told me to see my other doctors. Which also take months to get in with. Very frustrating and NOT a good experience at all.
