Rudest doctor
If you like to be stressed out and crying then she is the perfect doctor for you. She threw outlandish diagnoses after criticizing the initial diagnosis my son was given. These diagnoses had absolutely no proof and didn’t even fit him. She gave no data or explanation on how she even came up with these. She spent barely any time even assessing him, while the original neurologist that diagnosed him spent a lot of time assessing, and listened to all the symptoms we gave. It honestly felt like she wanted the other doctor to be wrong and her to be correct. It was the oddest feeling. Our stress levels went way down after not dealing with her. She has the worst bed side manners and absolutely no empathy while speaking to parents about THEIR child.

Warning choose another provider
She was abrasive, condescending, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I would recommend asking for another neuro doc or leaving the hospital unless you want to leave in tears and feel as though your child is a specimen to be solved not a human being to be cared for and treated with care and commitment. I've already filed a complaint with Guest Relations with UC Davis. I wish I could give zero stars.

Abysmal care and bedside manner
Chang was involved in our son's hospitalization, and every interaction with her was awful. Her assessments were hurried and misleading, her bedside manner was horrible - she'd make comment after seemingly unfiltered comment that induced and aggravated stress, aside from those stress-inducing drop-in visits to our room she was uncommunicative, and when I finally chased her down to ask her a question about my son's imagery, she pulled it up on the workstation monitor, turned the monitor toward me, motioned toward the image, and just gave me a sad look. That was it. No explanation, no words at all, just a sad look. Unbelievable. Nobody in the unit was able to explain what she was doing for my son and why she was in the room - other than getting paid. I can't even imagine how many pained parents she's hurt. Horrible.

She has been seeing my daughter since 2 years of age and she is 16 now. This Dr is amazing and very welcoming with my family and child. She's always honest and open even with the bad news. But she is accountable. We love her and her team.

Dr, Chang was my son’s Nuerologist. With much advocating to speak to Nuero, there was no contact with me for two days. I came every morning between 8:30 and 9 and stayed until it was apparent that no one was going to check in on him and speak to me about a plan of action. Nurses paged, called and still nothing. I watched as she (Dr. Chang) ate lunch and laughed with colleagues, and yet she wouldn’t see me for two days. She allowed my son to be in so much pain and ignored him.
