Dr. Cesar Sarmiento, MD

Dr. Sarmiento is one of the most knowledgeable physicians I ever saw. He has a keen knowledge of a variety of symptoms and helped me on more than one occasion. I was in horrific pain due to a failed hip replacement and he was honest enough to refer me to Shands Medical Center doctors as there was not one orthopedic surgeon in Lake County that would tell me what the problem was with my hip. As it turned out, the wrong hardware was used (the ball did not fit the socket, causing it to dislocate on several occasions. I was in chronic pain for a variety of reasons and he never stopped helping me. I wish I could find a Dr. Sarmiento in Massachusetts where I now live. I give him the highest regards!

Great family doctor, very knowledgeable.

This little old clinic is trapped in time. Building is old & dirty, terrible A/C, single phone line with no answering service. Interior decor & staff have a doom & gloom kinda vibe. Cash only... come on, even I can take card payment now a days. Dr Sarmiento is a unique individual. He's like an angry man under sedation. Best way I can describe him. Offers very little education & understanding of addiction & Buprenorphine medication. He has always treated me like an addict & I've been seeing him for 5 yrs, never relapsed. I truly don't think he cares much, about anything. But its super cheap! Cash pay $75-80 every 3 months.

I'm a retired Lake County physician, and really like Dr. Sarmiento's approach. He's studious and well informed, but does not hesitate to refer a complicated case to the best specialist in the Central Florida area. He's also friendly, humble and a good listener.
