He has a nice bed-side manner but almost negligent when it comes to care and followup. I think it may be a combination of having way too many patients and having an incompetent staff. But it may be even worse than that. After cancelling 2 appointments which were scheduled months in advance, I received a 3rd cancellation the evening before the appointment. I was told he had to leave on emergency. It was suspicious. So I went to the office at the time of appointment to check. He was there. So I suspect he was over-booked and had to shed some patients. Very disappointing. Finding a good GP in this area is very difficult. But I would stay away from Dr. Fuller.

Abondoned us in a time of need
Dr. Fuller was very nice when I met him for the first time (took 8 months but that is typical to SLO). He said we would meet every year for a physical (since I am a healthy 40 yr old) and to reach out if anything came up in the meantime. Well, I was hospitalized for 5 days and needed to speak with him after discharge to discuss medications and a gameplan. We called his office every day for two weeks and he never called us back. We can see in the portal that there were messages left for him. I ran out of medication and had to call a friend to help me fill it. We felt abandoned and needed help in a bad way and he did not get back to us (my wife was in tears calling his office). It appears he has too many patients to provide adequate care. I feel bad for him because he seems like a nice guy but is clearly overwhelmed. I would look for a doctor that is available when you need him. I would not recomend Dr. Fuller to anyone.
