Lost my eye because of his mistake
I had a cornea transplant in October of 2017 with Dr. Nedrud. I went in for my follow up appointment December 7th and found out it have a full blown fungal infection. Dr. Nedrud had not looked at the pathology report given to him within 24 hours after my procedure which reported that there was a fungal and bacterial infection on the donor cornea. I was given a 10% chance of saving my eye because of his failure to read a report. We did eye injections for a couple of weeks and then another transplant. I was told the infection was gone but I would need to do additional follow ups to make sure. I switched to new ophthalmologist, and shortly after, found out the infection was back and I needed my eye removed. I officially had my eye removed in May of 2018. I was 26 and would not wish that trauma and pain on my worst enemy. All of this could have been easily avoided if Dr. Nedrud had just read a simple pathology report and gotten me in right away. 10 out of 10 would never recommend

I recently had cataracts in both eyes removed w/ IOL replacements. He is absolutely great with information as well as a gifted surgeon. Fantastic improvement in vision. Office and staff were all great. From my experience I can highly recommend Dr. Nedrud as well as the Rocky Mountain Eye Center. Amazingly well run facility. (Maybe because the docs own it)???
