Dr. Chaithanya Mallikarjun, MD

I really like Dr. Chaithanya Mallikarjun, MD with Stone Oak Gastroenterology. She listens to my questions and gives me good suggestions. I've had two (2) procedures under her care and everything has gone well.

I have treated with her for several years and undergone at least 3 procedures. She was very pleasant and came to explain findings after my endoscopy. I have been very happy with her care!

I had a colonoscopy and a follow-up appointment with Dr. Mallikarjun and both were bad experiences. Pre-procedure I saw her nurse prac in the office who didn't answer any of my questions. On the day of the colonoscopy, I didn't see Dr. M before or after. I met her for the first time at the follow-up appt 3 weeks later. When I shared I had issues/pain since the procedure, she told me that was impossible and everything went well for her. I asked which type of doctor could help me with my symptoms and she got angry. She was talking over me, didn't listen to me, and insisted I was fine. Her bedside manner was awful. Thankfully, I found an amazing colorectal surgeon who was able to perform the repair I needed. Patients deserve doctors who listen and are helpful and you won't get that with her. I would not recommend Dr. M to anyone for anything.

I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Mallikarjun and was highly impressed with her competence. I greatly appreciated her follow-up with me in recovery with provision of the written results. During my clinic visits, she has been friendly, professional, and responsive to my questions. I highly recommend her as a provider. I would also like to thank her staff at the clinic and my pre-, intra- and post-procedure nurses who were terrific. They were so friendly and helpful and really made the experience so much better. Dr M WAS A NO SHOW AT MY COLONOSCOPY APPOINTMENT First Dr. Mallikarjun prescribed a prep that had a direct conflict with my seizure disorder, putting me at risk for a break through seizure if I had not read the fine print. Then after multiple calls to the office to find a prep alternative, and spending Sunday night and Monday before dawn getting ready for the proceedure... DR MALLIKARJUN WAS A NO SHOW AT MY COLONOSCOPY APPOINTMENT THIS MORNING AT 9:30 AM !!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE

My scheduled Dr. called in sick and Dr. Mallikarjun stepped in so I would not have to reschedule. She and her staff were very efficient, kind and professional.

I've seen Dr Mallikarjun for colonoscopies and endoscopies and really appreciate her compassion and care for her patients. She is thorough and has sent me for additional studies for items she thought needed attention even though not apparently serious. I highly recommend her.

Very Professional took great care of me.

I just had my colonoscopy procedure done at the Theda Oaks Gastroenterology & Endoscopy center and I was impressed with the professionalism and swiftness that the procedure was performed. Dr. Mallikarjun was ready and proficient while comforting me when starting the procedure.

Dr. Mallikarjun has been my gastroenterologist for 10 years and is extremely proficient. The level of healthcare is excellent with all attending nurses, anesthesiologist, and attendant. Everything is explained very well in advance in a preliminary consultation. The procedure was wonderfully orchestrated and done in about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. I was sent home with paperwork and photographs about my colonoscopy procedure. In a couple of weeks I will have a follow up consultation. This is a very loving and caring staff and I feel 100% comfortable recommending them to everyone.

My visit with Dr. Mallikarjun was the worse experience I ever had...... with a Dr. she was extremely rude, has bad bed side manners, talks over you, doesn't listen to what I was explaining what was happening to me, she kept talking on top of me. I would NEVER EVER see her again. The best Dr. for Gastro is Dr. Seema Dar, she listens to patient, and she truly cares, and has excellent bed side manner.

I have had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy with Dr. Mallikarjun. I appreciate having a female provider for these procedures. Dr. M is caring and knowledgable.

Had a second Colonoscopy, this time with Dr. Mallikarjun and I have to say, her and her staff are kind, caring and wonderful. I highly recommend her and her entire staff vs the military route as last time.
