Good Doctor - Unprofessional
Good doctor, the accolades stop there. Double books appointments, expect your appointment to be at least an hour late. Office is next to impossible to contact, and rarely return calls. Walked out of my last appointment, told staff my time is just as valuable as Kotaru and it is very unprofessional to expect patients in this manner. Told staff I can find another physician. See Kotaru at your own risk.

This is one of the worst people I have met. He is so incredibly rude and arrogant. He was treating me in the ICU since I was incubated. After I was off the ventilator he told me that I needed to see him in the clinic and I needed antibiotics. When I said I was worried about cost of the antibiotics, he said you need to take them or I won’t see you in clinic. He then walked out of the room. Never even gave me a chance to ask any other questions. Next day he he yelled at me as soon as he walked into my room - said are you going to take the antibiotics or not? No introduction and not even a hi. The nurse was right next to him and witnesses this. I didn’t even have a chance to respond and he just walked out again. Tried having a family member talk to him and he yelled at them too saying if you don’t pay for the antibiotics I don’t care and won’t see you in clinic. No discussion about the cost. I wanted to take them, but it was expensive. The nurse apologized on his behalf. He’s so mean!

I have been seeing Dr Kotaru for about a year and a half. I have found him to be friendly, helpful, and compassionate. He is among the best at listening of all of the doctors I have ever seen and answers questions in an easy to understand way. I definitely recommend him.
