Be cautious
This Dr is not a good Dr. he dismissed me for months when o told him symptoms on my levothyroxine he flat out lied and said my symptoms weren’t a side effect of my medication. His resolution was to double my meds for 2 days from 100-200 mcg. He was dismissive and “uh huh” “yeah” he lied in my chart and said I had swollen feet to make it seem I have a heart issue. My heart is normal. Be cautious seeing this Dr

Does not listen well
Dr. Medavarapu is the type of doctor who is certain he knows everything he needs to know about your treatment without actually knowing anything about you. I visited him for a regular diabetes check-up (he's now the fifth doctor I've been paired with at this office because they keep leaving, which is never a good sign). He asked a few perfunctory questions, but did not actually believe my answers and seemed to assume I had no idea what I was talking about. I have lived with my Type 1 diabetes all day, every day, for many years now. I know how my body reacts to treatment far better than anyone else possibly could. Yet my knowledge and experience was treated as nothing compared to his.Sure, he's the doctor. I also have a doctorate. I'm not an idiot. Yet his response was to give me very basic changes ('You should try adjusting your insulin up or down by one unit.' Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that?). He even referred me to a diabetes educator to learn to count carbs. Not recommended
