Cannot do correct billing.
This is as much about Dr Locklear as the front desk. From the very beginning I was asked if I do drugs or am I on drugs. The answer to both questions was no. Personally I just thought the question was out of line and considering the close proximity I was to other people in the room it should have been reserved for another time or setting. My problem with the office is after spending several hours with my insurance and trying to correct a bill they continue to say they submitted the right insurance. Even the lab said they submitted the wrong insurance. I received a bill today and when I opened it I was already behind on the bill even though this is my first bill from Dr Charlene. I will pay the bill and then I will call my insurance to see if the receptionist submitted the right insurance. I just don’t feel comfortable going back to the same Dr when I never receive confirmation or follow ups in regards to lab results. This is my own personal experience with the receptionist and billing.

Dr. Locklear is a great doctor. She is concerned about her patients and takes time to access their health while in the room. She is personable and has a great personality. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her to everyone that asks about a doctor.

I would recommend her because she is a great docto
She takes her time with you. Listen to what's going on with you. When my mom was home dieing from cancer Dr. Charlene would come to see her at home. We have been going to her for about 10+ years.

HOW MUCH I WOULD HAVE LIKED , TO BE HER PATIENT, BUT I WAITED ABOUT A MONTH FOR HER TO EVALUATE MY RECORD AND APPOINTMENTS WERE NEVER AVALIABLE TO SEE ME, EVERYTIME THE LADY WHO TAKES THE CALLS TOLD ME, THE DOCTOR( Dr.Locklear) SHE HAS NOT EVALUATE YOUR RECORD YET, I THINK IT COULD NOT BE BECAUSE OF NUMBER OF PATIENTS, BECAUSE I PRECISELY FOUND THIS PLACE SINCE I AM NEW WITH MY DISABLED DAUGTHER IN THIS COUNTY( Robeson) BECAUSE OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN FROM OF THIS OF HER OFFICE , THAT READ, NEW PATIENT S ARE ACCEPTED AND EVENTUALLY , I MADE CHANGES IN MY INSURANCE, I SING TO THEM PAPER IN OTHER TO RECEIVED MY RÉCORDS. APPARENTLY EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETE AND THEY NEVER GAVE ME AN APPOINTMENT WAITING FOR DR LOCKLEAR SEE MY RECORD. WHAT HAPPENE? I DONT KNOW.WHAT I KNOW IS THAT I HAD TO RETURN TO MY DICTOR IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TRAVELING ABOUT 45 MINUTES BECAUSE I DO LIVE IN LUMBERTON, I HAD TO MAKE THE CHANGES AGAIN WITH MY INSURER( CIGNA/ MEDICAID) THANKS FOR EVERYTHING.

Dr. Locklear takes all the time you need with her. Answers any questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. The staff is exceptional except for the front desk receptionist. She does not make any effort to help you out if you are experiencing problems. If you use the on-line portal to contact the doctor, you can bypass the receptionist and get help with your problem.
