Dr. Daly gave me back the use of my hand!
I had been suffering with pain in my hand and wrist for several months post-surgery by a different provider, when I was referred to Dr. Daly by a colleague. Dr. Daly and his team quickly identified the sources of my pain (a neuroma and severed nerve) and recommended surgery to remove the neuroma and graph the severed nerve. Throughout the appointments, diagnostics, surgery, and follow-up, I have been beyond impressed by the level of expertise, service, and care provided by Dr. Daly and his team at MUSC. The surgery results also far exceeded my expectations - I have zero pain and can perform all daily functions and tasks that I'd been unable to before and can also play tennis and run pain free. Post surgery pain was also practically non-existent and required no narcotics. The level of swelling and bruising were reduced by the care taken in surgery, and I was able to return to normal activities within just a few weeks. I would recommend Dr. Daly without hesitation - he was a Godsend!

Good Experience!
7:30 am appt - honestly was worried I would be waiting for staff to show up. Three bright eyed ladies greeted me in the lobby, checked me in and sent me upstairs,. Dr Daly and his staff were knowledgeable & communicative. He made a recommendation for my hand, did the injections himself ! I was out of there in an hour. My hand feels so much better today. What a smart kind doctor surrounded by A+ staff .

Poor care
Dr Daly operated on a spiral fracture to my finger. From my first post-op visit telling him something was wrong, he ignored me and insisted it was fine. Then he said PT/OT would solve the unexpected inflammation. When paying out of pocket to go to PT 4-5 days a week didn’t help, his answer was the bone had healed so there was nothing he could do. He’s dismissive, uncaring and quietly arrogant about leaving me with a disability

Successful Carpal Tunnel Surgeries
After 18+ months of pain and interrupted sleep, I made an appointment with Dr. Daly. He was very thorough in reviewing my options. I chose to have carpal tunnel release surgery in both wrists five weeks apart. My pain decreased the evening of my surgeries and continued to decrease in the weeks following. I am now six weeks out from my second surgery and I am pain free and haven't experienced any tingling in either wrist. My only regret is not seeking his help sooner. I had both surgeries at the MUSC West Ashley location and the whole team there was great. I highly recommend Dr. Daly and the MUSC West Ashley surgical and post op teams.

He is fabulous!!
I went to Dr. Daly with a broken pinky that the ER in another state could not set. He determined that I needed surgery with pins set and pushed until the OR could take me the next day. I met with him once before surgery and three times after and he has been wonderful each time; compassionate, caring and answered all of my questions. I had an AMAZING surgical result and could not possibly be any happier. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Daly and his team. They have taken wonderful care of me and I sincerely appreciate all he and they have done.

I recently had surgery on my left wrist. Dr. Daly thoroughly explained all my options. Once I chose surgery, he went into detail as to what he was going to do during surgery and post surgery. There were no surprises and I am 100% better. Thank you Dr. Daly.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Daly and the quality of care I received with him. I had carpel tunnel issues in both hands and was fearful at first about what to do. He and his staff educated me about my condition, gave me options, and answered all my questions. I decided to have the surgery. Both surgeries were uneventful. He, himself, called to check on me after each surgery. He used the latest techniques. I had only the slightest discomfort immediately after each surgery, but even that was gone within 24 hours. The incision was less than ½ inch and has now faded to invisibility. I’ve not had the first issue with either hand. I’ve already sent a family member and a colleague his way. Dr. Daly is kind, empathetic, and professional. His staff rocks. I could not have asked for better and I can not recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Daly is a class act; professional, kind, genuine, and an amazing surgeon. I had endoscopic carpal tunnel release on my right hand and was able to type freely as soon as my bandages came off, which meant that I did not have to miss any work. My recovery was rapid, and the results were so promising that I went ahead and had the procedure done on my left hand about 8 weeks later. Now I am able to sleep at night, drive, write, eat, type on the computer, and text on my phone with no numbness, tingling, or pain. To say that this surgery changed my life is an understatement. Dr. Daly is obviously a highly skilled surgeon, but it is his friendly demeanor, the way he truly listens to his patients’ concerns, and his confidence and calm presence during pre-op that sets patients at ease and sets Dr. Daly apart from other surgeons.

Dr. Daly talked with me about the possible routes and risks with each one. After we chose the surgery route, he discussed exactly what he would be doing in the surgery and answered all of my questions. The surgery went great! I had no side effects and little to no pain after my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Daly.

Dr. Daly clearly explained my condition and my options for relief. I chose to proceed with surgery and it went just as he said it would. I was in and out pretty quickly, everyone that cared for me was kind, every step of the way was clearly explained. I enjoyed a fairly easy recovery and I am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Daly.
