Dr. Charles Deverna, MD

Mom went in with chest pain and muscle tremors and hallucinations. Left a handwritten note for the paramedics to sit her in the waiting room. 5 hours in the waiting room, then another 5 in a bed in the back. Ten hours of being in this ER and we never ONCE saw this man. Never came to even introduce himself. Negligent and uncaring. Would have his job on a silver platter if I could.

Never saw him, but got a bill 21 weeks after the fact!

This is a very busy ER but Dr. Deverna knows what he's doing and can get it done quickly and efficiently. A lot of people coming here for pain medications so if you don't get them from him don't blame the doctor, maybe don't get angry because he doesn't want to give you your narcotics that you're addicted to.

Saw Dr. Deverna in the ER at Johnston Willis. He did not care about the pain I had. All he told me was your labs and CT are normal and you can be discharged. Left in the same amount of pain I came in with. He could care less when I explain to him. I think he is the medical director for the ER, if so he is a poor example. He is too busy calling patients buddy and not by their name and could care less. Very disappointed. Said all labs were normal, yet had large amt of blood in urine never told me.
