I have been a patient of Dr. Dougherty for a while, and have never felt at ease with him. You feel rushed and like you are annoying him, like he can't wait for the appointment to be over. He has an fairly arrogant attitude and doesn't listen well. I am switching to a new PCP because I need a doctor I can trust, and who responds to my concerns. I never thought bedside manner was very important as long as the doctor is a smart and a good diagnostician, but for a PCP you need to be able to communicate and he just doesn't seem to care. I've had enough and am compelled to write this review. He falls short of what I'd expect from a Penn-affiliated provider, and we need better PCPs in the area. Also, the office staff there is fine, but leaves a lot to be desired.

A patient should never leave feeling like you inconvenienced the doctor by your visit; especially when you spent 5 minutes in the room. Bad day or burned out?
