Dr. Charles Pumphrey, MD

If you are considering him for a primary care doctor definitely do it. he has a very eclectic doctor, but he definitely takes every concern seriously. He’s been an amazing primary care, doctor for my son and I wish I could have his as a primary care doctor doctor for myself

I went to Dr. Pumphrey throughout my entire childhood until I was 18. He is not a bad doctor but if your child has actual concerns, they will not be listened to or heard. For example, when I was having incredibly irregular and painful periods, massive blood clots, pre syncope, etc. as a 12 year old, he told me that going vegan would fix my problem. It could not.Recently, I also found out that I was vitamin b12 deficient despite having a diet very rich in b12. I told him I was concerned about the root cause as there may be an absorption issue which is preventing me from being physically healthy. He told my mom that there is no reason to investigate for an underlying cause to my deficiency because there is chlorine in the American drinking water that causes people to be b12 deficient, and it happens to everyone. Yes, he actually said that.He said blueberries cure depression.He is an OK doctor for run of the mill sickness but if there is an actual health concern, don't go to him.

SSH My kids are in 26, and 24 and all 3 of them were patients of Dr. Pumphreys from birth to 18. He is an upstanding doctor with utmost compassion and knowledge. He and his staff took such good care of my kids, they literally felt and treated us like family. Still to this day, not one of my kids have found a doctor that they are as comfortable with as they were with Dr. Pumphrey. I CANNOT stress enough what an AMAZING doctor (and his staff) are. He has dedicated his life to kids, and it truly shows, through and through! Side note:Dr. Pumphrey saved my nieces life by diagnosing her with the deadly illness Kawasaki‘s disease that NOBODY in the ER could figure out. She’s now a thriving 26 yr old, and are family is forever grateful. TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SEE DR. PUMPHREY!!!!

What we LOVE about our childrens pediatrician, Dr. Pumphrey, is he 1. Gives his cell for emergencies 2. LISTENS to the parents and respects their views on medical decisions 3. Will both write a prescription if needed yet also open to natural treatments and remedies 4. Is moral and kind and actually cares. What a blessing!!! We are so thankful to have found a doctor for our girls who actually believes parents have the God-given right to choose what medical care their child needs and doesn’t try to force his opinion. Instead, he gives you all the options for a given situation and you never feel bullied into anything you don’t want. Love our Dr.!!

Dr. Pumphrey is an awesome doctor.

Talk about great care from a doctor. Dr. Pumphrey has always taken great care of my daughter since she has been born. He has always had such great and honest advice especially being a first time mom. Every time I leave his office I feel like I am doing a great job at raising my daughter because he is so encouraging. The most recent time I have needed his help had been by far the best. I needed an appointment, he was booked which was understandable with flu season. So he was able to do everything

Dr. Pumphrey is the most dedicated and knowledgable pediatrician I have ever encountered. He is quick to respond, even after hours, and spends the necessary amount of time to answer all of my questions/concerns.

I have four children from 2 - 18 all have been patients of Dr Pumphrey. He is by far the most amazing doctor. He always takes the time to explain everything and make sure you understand. He has always been able to diagnose my kids when others couldn't. He is quick to return calls no matter what time of day or night it is. He definitely cares about his patients whether he is in the office or not. My kids love him. I could go on and on. If you are looking for a good doctor for kids, he's the One!
