Review of Dr. Charles Reing ,Presbyopia correction functionof intraocular lensWrong lens implanted, and a very poor follow up “I'VE DONE THOUSANDS OF THESE ” is what I bought into; for thousands of non-refundable dollars per eye. HE GOT PAYED.Wrong lenses were put in after a 5 plus hour wait on a hospital operating table due to an error on the first lens he returned.How does this happen? The Doctors ability to perform this operation and to identify the correct lenses immediately, was his responsibility. The circumstances were poor at best and the results a disaster. His defense he mentioned that the hospitals equipment, inexperience staff, The follow up visit equally poor. He was less than professional. He told me the office was very busy with multiple competing demands, and a personal family loss distracted him during my consultation. So, he overlooked the fact that I now have to wear glasses fulltime for the rest of my life again At the cost of thousands of dollars.

The title says it all. I've been trying to help my Aunt find a doctor to address a matter of concern. I saw his name and photo and realized that my whole family saw him when we were younger. We're currently on the phone to book an appointment with his office. THANK YOU Dr. Reing!

Based upon Dr. Reing’s excellent referrals I expected good results from my cataract surgery. Yet my expectations were exceeded. I now have better distance vision then I have ever had in my life and I can read without glasses. In my consultations with Dr. Reing he was patient, thorough, and friendly. The surgery was less traumatic than I had feared and the follow up care was meticulous. I recommend his care without reservations.

Had my annual check-up with Dr. Reings today. very complete, clearly explained everything. HE DID THE EXAM NOT A TECH like other places. Very personable.

I'd like to thank Dr. Charles Reing of Advanced Eye Care, and his staff at SJW for the amazing outcome of my bilateral cataract surgery. At a point in life when everything becomes increasingly difficult it is a miracle that I can enjoy my restored vision again. -Robert Hussey RN

There are two issues why I am writing this review. First, this doctor is not knowledgeable about my condition. Secondly, the last time I went to see him, he didn’t even listen to me, he answered his cel phone, and told the person to hold on. With the phone in his hand, he got up and told me to come back in a month... so disrespectful...

Dr Reign is knowledgeable, assertive and professional. My expirience is always very pleasurable from my appointment setting with Marisol P always helpful in accommodating to Pooja great sense of humor to the great caring Dr. Charles Reign. Highly recommend because you know you’re in for the very best

Spent a total of 4 minutes with me, needed an annual exam. Wear glasses for over 40 years. Asked me how my glasses were doing, when I said I think they are ok he said, "ok, no need for an eye exam and no need to check your prescription." He just dialated my eyes and did pressure and retina check, then sent me away. NEVER USING HIM AGAIN. Never gone to an eye doctor for an annual checkup only to NOT have my eyes checked. AMAZING.

Dr Reing and the staff at Advanced Eye Care in Wayne are great! I recently had cataract surgery and was very happy with both the results and the entire process. The staff was very efficient and friendly and Dr. Reing did an amazing job with my surgery.

I have recommend many people to Dr Reing. Very happy with my surgeries and the staff are all so caring and helpful.

Needs to listen to his patients to understand their unique needs and situation.

I have no hesitation of recommending Dr. Reing. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I have had 2 eye surgeries with him which have been extremely successful.

I've been going to Dr. Reing ever since I can remember (early childhood) and I always had a good experience. Dr. Reing is very professional and has a very calm yet knowledgeable way about him. A week ago he preformed LASIK surgery on me & everything went great! I was scheduled a post op appointment the next day.And even though I was seen by another doctor (Reing was off that day), right as I checked out to make my second post op appointment he called the office to see how I was doing. Very dil

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an eye doctor. I waited for 2 hours before being seen for my appointment. The staff is unprofessional and dr reing was extremely rude and unapologetic after me explaining my frustrations from the wait time. I will not be returning here ever again.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes and both Dr Reing & his staff were professional, pleasant & very helpful in guiding me through the process. They were clear in explaining what was going to happen & also clear in explaining the options and their costs. The surgery center was also very professional and helpful all through the procedure.

I went as a new patient with my wife. I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Reing found I had the early stages of glaucoma and was able to do a lot of the testing the same day I came in. I was worried about the diagnosis but he answered my questions and made me feel more comfortable. I would highly recommend this office.

Totally thoughtless & disengaged. Prescribed new glasses ($500 - no insurance) that didn't work because he knew, but didn't inform me at the time, that I needed cataract surgery before a new Rx would work. Had an oh, well attitude when he finally told me why I was having double vision & balance issues with the glasses. Consequently had the surgery & have to pay for a new Rx. Medicare will cover only a small portion of this cost post-surgery & I have to save up again for the balance. Not happy
