Dr. Charles Saperstein, MD

This guy sure has a big head for not ever doing anything. While at an appointment for stomach issues, he will try to prove he's the smartest in the room. No real knowledge or help was given.

Dr Saperstein is the epitome of a doctor who went into medicine because he wanted to help people. He never rushes, he speaks to you, not down to you and always with kindness. His humor and tenderness make you feel comfortable immediately. I know he is retiring soon and I’m happy he will have time with family and golf but they just don’t make docs like him anymore and he’ll be missed more than he knows.

I am a new patient to this office, I had no trouble getting a appointment, office staff helpful and friendly, office is very clean. Dr Saperstein was very helpful addressing my health issues. I didn’t feel rushed and I understood the the Doctors recommendations for my treatment.

Dr Saperstein was kind and compassionate. He listened to all my problems and offered solutions how he could help.

He listens and has your best interest at heart. Most competent doctor I have had in years.

Dr. Saperstein has been my doctor for probably 30 years and has always provided great care and is very personable and shows genuine interest in your well being.

Seemed condescending and then rattled off his degrees and years of experience. Said things I knew helped were fake and waste of money. Failed to look over all of the labs I showed him on my phone and said "no way" to hepatitis. He did later call back and say he saw new labs, actually the same ones, and that there had been hepatitis b.

This doctor was very compassionate and was not in a rush. He asked lots of questions and seemed very concerned about my problem.

Was sent there by my provider cause I’m have trouble with my pancreas stool smell like ammonia already been diagnosed with Eosinophilic esophagus disease first this dr Saperstine says to me is what do you want me to do tried explaining what is going on, with my pancreas he say stop saying pancreas it’s not your pancreas said my PCP sent me here to have a MRCP done he say I won’t do that to complicated wanted to do another EGD tells me I wanna see for myself about my esophagus even though He has the results from my last four EDG proving I have EOE then commence to ask me if I was in some kind of cult cause I have tattoos want dose me having tattoos have to do with my health he was rude condescending disrespectful just a truly ignorant person and he represents Arizona Digestive Health I wish I would of done my homework a little better and read the reviews I wouldn’t of subjected myself or my wife to this man’s rhetoric. If you’re needing a gastroenterologist pass on this man

I’ve been having bowel issues since October and my previous gastro had no idea why and didn’t give me anything to help it. My friend referred me to Dr Saperstein and after seeing him , 2 days later with what he prescribed , I am back to normal and can live my life without having to worry about bathroom issues.

Dr Sapperstein is a great Doctor who listens and really wants to help his patients!

My visit with Dr. Saperstein was very pleasant. He was very informative about the procedure I was having and answered all my questions in a professional manner.

Dr. Saperstein has done a colonoscopy on me in the past and unlike two I had elsewhere by other Doctors that left me not wanting to ever have it done again, Dr. Saperstein's procedure was not painful as in the past. I would d have it done again if needed. Then I had an appointment the other day regarding a CT scan and was impressed with his explanation of the CT and advise going forward.

Dr Saperstein is kind, attentive and most Importantly listens to your concerns and addresses them. A true professional!

I have been a patient of Dr. Saperstein for at least 20 years and I have never met a more caring Doctor ever! He takes his time to talk with you, explains all your options. Besides the professionalism, he gets to know you as a person and your family and never seems to forget any stories you may have told him. He has that personal touch that makes him an outstanding Doctor!
