Shady practice
Was a patient decided to find better care. Went back to pull records for a new docotor. And apparently mine had “disappeared” and they had a glitch and when I told them they are required to keep records of medicine appointments mris etc was told not their issue they didn’t have them. Even though pvh had the X-rays and mri ordered from them on file and they gave them to me at the hospital

If I could leave negative stars I would
Dr. Sisson performed a procedure last thursday on me that left my whole left side numb. He told me it was ok "it will go away"as I was walking out of his office crying and struggling to walk. Now I'm currently in a hospital bed awaiting surgery. Stay away from this man. Run. Do not let him touch you. Worst decision I have EVER made.

Dr. Sisson, helped me with my chronic pain!
Dr Sisson has helped me for many years. I have moved away and wish so I could find someone like here in the Fargo area! My Dr that was helping me retired rather abruptly. My pain pump is dry now as I can’t find anyone to help me. I’m hurting so bad because the pain pump is dry!!! If you see this by chance please message me back! I need to talk to you!!!

Worst doctor ever
Doesn’t listen & doesn’t care AT all. You would have better luck talking to a brick wall. I don’t understand WHY he is a doctor??!!! He is rude arrogant and doesn’t let you say a word! Judgmental hateful soul. Do not waste your time!!

Not sure why Dr. Sisson is even in this field. Pain Management requires empathy, someone who listens, someone who understands. He is none of those. I feel that he did not listen to a word I said. He has no consideration for his patients at all, his only consideration is to collect a paycheck while ensuring he keeps only low risk patients, while forcing all others out to either find new doctors or to be in so much pain that life is miserable, not that he cares. One of the worst doctors I have ever interacted with. And the clinic is a mess - calls are never returned, no follow up with anything, in-person wait times sometimes over an hour. I would avoid this Clinic if you have other options.

Went to see him for severe neck and chronic pain issues. He sent me for xrays and said we would have a follow up call in two weeks and I scheduled it for 3pm. I didn’t hear back so I called and they said he’d call when he was done with his last patient. Never heard from him. Called the next 2 days and he wasn’t in. Called this morning and was told he wouldn’t be in until March 18 over a month from now. Asked if they could get him a message and they said no. I’m sorry but that sounds very strange to me. So never got an evaluation on the xrays or any follow up on how to manage my pain .

I was in a car accident and have had many injuries and many doctors. Today, Dr. Sission had the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen. Not to mention, they told me to me 20 min. Early for my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 11:30. I get there at 11:10 and check in. I was finally called back at 12:50pm. I am suffering from a cervical spine herniation causing nerve pain all down my arm. Finally taken back he spent maybe 8 minutes with me and didn’t even address the reason I was there.

After years of searching for help from multiple doctors, Dr. Sisson was the first to diligently seek and properly diagnose the root cause of my chronic pain, then implement a treatment plan that returned my quality of life to me. Pleasant, caring, and thoughtful, he listens intently and asks excellent questions. Never have I felt rushed or processed. He truly cares about his patients. I consider him an extraordinary doctor.

With spinal-nerve damage, I was in excruciating pain for 14 years as the injury caused my back muscles to constantly contract. Any activity increased the pain, so I was bed-ridden 24/7. None of a dozen top doctors all over the US, including at John’s Hopkins, were able to help me. But I began seeing Dr. Sisson and he immediately provided me some relief. Then he found a treatment that has resolved my condition! I cannot thank Dr. Sisson & Colorado Clinic team enough for giving me my life back!

Dr. Sisson was so helpful in helping me achieve relief in my neck pain. It's so nice to go into a doctors office and they not try to prescribe you with medication only. He truly wants to find the root of your issue and interventional ways of treating them. I have been so happy with my care that I have received with Dr. Sisson.

I had a St Jude's spinal cord simulator placed in Fort Collins that was shocking me and making my pain worse, the doctor who placed it was a jerk. I went to see Dr Sisson for a second opinion. He removed it and replaced it with a Nevro HF-10 spinal cord simulator. I have better pain relief and it does not shock me. He also helped ween me off my pain medication. I don't take any narcotic pain medication now. I sleep better and am not tired all day.

My 89 year old mother and 69 year old sister recently lost their pain management Doctor Amy Gentry. Referred to Colo. Clinic, LVLD office and seen by a PA named Eric. Both my mom and sister have been stable for more than a decade on low doses of opiates for severe pain He didn't even introduce himself and IMMEDIATELY told my sister he wouldn't prescribe to her because she has COPD and uses O2 and walked out. Wants my invalid mom to go for tons of tests w/ no offer of meds. NEVER GO THERE!!!

Colorado Clinic has a great deal of providers now that have spent a great deal of time listening and taking care of my needs. The Nurse Practitioner Doug Larner has been instrumental in my recovery from a significant back injury. I'm not sure how I could have done it without the help & consistent attention they have given to me. I understood my part of the treatment plan up front. They were very clear with what I needed to do to get better. I'm very pleased with my outcome and recommend them.

Dr Sissons PA Jacqueline is very UN professional. They put care off for 3 weeks to obtain medical records from providers so they could begin pain management care for me. When I returned they did not receive medical records and proceeds to tell me that I'm not in enough pain to warrant pain medication.
