Extremely High Charges
Be careful with your wallet! My last visit with Dr. Skiba was in March 2024, and I was shocked by how much I had to pay for the co-payments months after. While I understand that quality care can come with a price, I was honestly taken aback by the exorbitant fees, $3,000. Now a year later, I just got another bill. If you're considering this doctor, just be aware that you'll be paying a premium, but you might not feel it’s worth it in the end.

Run, don’t walk the other way!
Worst excuse for a Doctor that I ever had! Had an office visit, with lab work and never received the results! I have emailed and called the office several times to obtain my lab results to no avail! All my attempts to obtain my records have been ignored!

I've been with Sr. Skiba since he was at Pacific Oaks. Best doctor I've ever had. Takes as much time as you need with him. Great mixture of wisdom and wit. Goes the extra step, every time. Love his approach and attitude.

After reading Robert's review I got the impression that his was the only accurate account of Dr. Skiba. My conversation with Dr. Skiba left me wondering if perhaps he's self-medicating, and needs to adjust the dosage, or if he is always so belligerent. Mostly what I felt was sympathy for his staff. Dr. Skiba may indeed have a higher than average IQ, but what about his EQ? My intention is simply to write this in hopes that Chuck will take a moment and evaluate his social interactions with others.

I met Dr Skiba as a coworker in a very busy practice. He noticed my coffee habit and quietly called me on it. And thank God he did. He uncovered a pituitary issue (one that had plagued me for at least a decade or more.). I've worked in health care 35 yrs. Of all the doctors in all the years ... he didn't know me and didn't owe me ... but Skiba reached out to me in his pointed and picky way lol. And I am ever ever so grateful. Blessings Dr Skiba.

Dr Skiba is an excellent caring doctor and knows what he's doing. I trust my medical care with him as he has taken care of my needs for years. He is totally honest, upfront and cuts to the chase. I personally like that. If you need a good doctor you should make an appointment at Skiba Medical.

I saw Dr. Skiba on March 4, 2016.The appointment began with a profanity-laced rant on how Obama has ruined America and Hillary will be even worse. He did this as a very nervous M.A. took my blood which was painful and left my arm scarred for over a week. Then, without reviewing any of my labs or taking a complete medical history, he insisted I change my current stable drug combination to something better. He was rude, hectoring and did not listen to anything I said, Very unprofessional.

Chuck has been my Primary Physician for about fifteen years or so now. I followed him when he hung out his own shingle after exiting Pacific Oaks. Smart, extremely well trained, keeps up with current research literature, and has a little streak of devilish exam table curmudgeon-esque humor (which, personally, I like).
