Aside from ordering the MRI that diagnosed my femur fracture, I have no good words to say. Arrogant, didn’t listen, no medication, was absolutely no help. Forced me to go back to work against my wishes when I wasn’t recovered, couldn’t fully walk, and still had significant pain. Implied I was just trying to take a vacation from work and I was imagining or making up the pain. No physical therapy. Just straight back into a physical labor job after a month of bed rest and no weight bearing. Over two and a half years later, I have been in pain every single day due to complications and have chronic issues AS A 30-YEAR-OLD due to this man’s negligence

Doctor Soma took me in immediately and repaired my swollen knee. I was back in the water kitesurfing and surfing immediately. I recently returned for Doctor Soma to check my reef cuts. I came with a wrist problem, had a very simple surgical procedure, now I am all better. I had surgery right in the office, I am looking forward to going back to work. I am so glad to not have to go to the hospital.

This is the second time seeing Dr Soma, he repaired my shoulder 5 years ago with a Mumford procedure, I have never had a problem since, good as new, no complications. I am currently seeing him for a torn ACL, MCL, I have been getting PRP injections in his office. It's been a little over 3 months since my injury and I am almost completely healed. Went from cast, crutches, braces, to now walking. Much better than having surgery. I highly recommend Dr Soma for his expertise. I have been a nurse for 40 years known alot of Doctors. He is very knowledgeable, and explains things well, listens.

Dr Soma to the rescue (again)!!! I am so grateful. I called his office in pain and panic. They were able to fit me in that same day. - Dr Soma was caring, listened attentively to my concerns, and was excellent with his diagnosis. I was extremely anxious about the pain involved in getting 4 shots to my knees. Dr Soma gave me extra anesthetic and his skill was evident. I couldn't believe how minimal the pain was and how excellent the results were. He was patient, caring and genuinely concerned about helping me regain my quality of life! Whether you are a visitor or resident, I highly recommend Dr. Soma. **Additionally, from the office to shots extremely stringent safety measures to ensure patients safety, in light of Covid.

He is very bright, down to earth, honest clinician. His office staff is superb & Mr Scott the PA that works with him is equall excellant. His skills as an orthopedic surgeon are also amazing & his approach to & with patients is sensitive & shyly caring. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a very skilled orthopedic surgeon or sport medicine specialist! (Wife of patient)

Dr. Soma operated to fix a torn labrum in my shoulder after I fell down stairs. After surgery he told me he fixed the labrum, and by the way, you have a tear in your rotator cuff. I asked why didn't he fix the rotator cuff tear during the surgery. He said "I went in to fix your labrum and that's what I did", "If the rotator cuff gives you problems later, you can have surgery then. My General Practitioner said that Soma does sloppy work.

Because of Dr. Soma's poor & inadequate surgical skills, my life has changed forever and the surgery site cannot be repaired.

DO NOT GO TO DR SOMA. Dr. Soma is a complete butcher. I was bitten by an ell and went to him. He overstated his abilities and rushed me into surgery the same day. When I woke up, he informed he he just "Took Out" the tendons in my hand. He looked me in the eye and said "Don't worry about it. 10% of people can't move their pinky's anyway. " Dr Soma is a complete hack.

I have had 3 encounters with Dr. Soma over the past 2 weeks for a wrist fracture and have been very impressed with the professional service Dr. Soma and his staff have extended to me. I waited no more than 1/2 hour to be seen at all appts. and have established a good report with him. My surgery went well, and looking forward to my next surgery under his care for an unrelated medical Issue. He has an open door of communication and has makes himself available outside of clinic hours

I had high hopes for Dr. Soma but he was so rude & condescending when I asked questions about my knee. He basically told me that I neglected myself and my knee (I workout & do PT 4x a week)He tried to tell me that I should do everything he says and “just listen to me” as he was telling my the exact opposite that 3 other doctors who are the best in orthopedics in the US told me. He the. Said the other doctors “don’t know what they are talking about”. Huh? He’s untrustworthy!

The most arrogant and uncaring doctor I have ever met. He is all about himself. ALWAYS WITH HIS FAKE SMILE. He's only in it to make money. Extremely self-centered.

This Doc really knows how to take care of his patient! From start to finish. Dealing with Dr. Soma and his staff is a very pleasant and professional experience. Dr. Soma very much listens to your medicals concerns and then offer alternatives to move forward to correct the problems. In my case it was a very bothersome meniscus tear. He scheduled the surgery promptly and performed it miraculously. I came out of surgery with little to no pain and am as good as new! The total experience was Awesome.

Dr.Soma repaired my rotator cuff and bicep tendon back in March of 2016.. He is extremely talented in the OR.. I am ahead of schedule in my recovery...he staff is so attentive too. Made my whole experience actually somewhat pleasant considering...

Was very pleased with Dr. Soma and his staff. Could not have asked to have been treated any better. All issues addressed and we felt as ease.

Visited for back pain. Visit #1 wasn't especially helpful, but he ordered appropriate tests. Visit #2 was helpful and he spent a good amount of time with xray results and correctly diagnosed my problem. Prescribed medication was hugely helpful. Good experience overall. However, he is massively overbooked and both visits took at least 2-3 hours - most of which was in waiting. Office staff was courteous, although harried. Difficult to get documentation for insurance claims.

I had an acl replacement and he is an amazing surgeon. His staff rocks. Thanks guys
