Saved My Life
At fifty-three, life took an uncertain twist,A rupture within, a near-fatal tryst. But in the hands of Dr. Thomas, skilled and wise,And the staff at West Jeff, who heard the cries,A tale of survival, a testament to grace,A journey from darkness, to a brighter place. With courage unyielding, he faced the storm,Through the darkest hours, a life transformed. In the operating room, where hope hung in the air,Dr. Thomas and team, with expertise rare,Mended the rupture, stitched back the seams,Rekindled his spirit, awakened his dreams. In West Jeff's embrace, he found a second chance,A life once in peril, now in a joyful dance.Through pain and struggle, he arose anew,With gratitude in his heart, to life, he'd be true.A chapter rewritten, a story of might,A survivor's journey, emerging into light. With every heartbeat, he cherishes the day,For Dr. Thomas and West Jeff paved the way.So here's to the man, now stronger and free,Whose life was redeemed by destiny's decree. In

I should know:
As a practicing MD for nearly 30 years I do know what it takes to be an excellent physician. Dr. Thomas rounded twice a day for 25 days while my daughter was hospitalized with a life-threatening abdominal disorder. Clearly he was not on call for 25 days straight, but instead went above and beyond what anyone would have expected. Honestly, his attention to detail, diligence, and expertise saved her life

I was clearly told my abdominal hernia needed surgery in Oct of 2018. After a 7 month runaround 4 office visits and 2 MRIs i was then told surgery was not necessary. I am now filing a complaint against Southern Surgical. Very disorganized staff and surgeon

i was diagnosed with duodenal cancer 12/28/05. He came in on a holiday to FULLY explain what was going on. Whipple surgery was performed 2 weeks later. Due to severity I was facing a death sentence. I spent 7 weeks in the hospital and dr Thomas came in every morning & afternoon not only to ck on me but to talk to me as a person. (Not just a patient) I could not have had a better doctor. I am now 11 years out from an illness I only had a 5% chance to survive 1 year. I love this man. !!!!!!!!
