I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Tseng. He performed a DIEP flap breast reconstruction for me after my mastectomy, and the results are nothing short of amazing. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!Dr. Tseng’s skill and artistry are unparalleled. He is not just a surgeon—he’s truly an artist with his craft. The results are so natural and beautiful that it’s hard to believe what he’s accomplished. There are not enough stars for Dr. Tseng! His vast expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and absolute artistry are beyond compare. And precisely what I needed following a difficult diagnosis. Last year, at 35, I learned that I had breast cancer. Given my small frame and unusually large tumor, one surgeon went so far as to decline my case. Then, I met Dr. Tseng, who willingly presented different possibilities for reconstruction and gave me hope that I could look normal again. Now, one-month post surgery, I could not be more pleased with the results. His skill and elegant eye made the impossible, possible. Dr. Tseng is exceptional! My family and I will always be grateful for his care.

Dr. Tseng was referred by my oncologist as someone who does beautiful work and he absolutely does. He was so lovely and patient with me and all my questions about how breast reconstruction works. I had a double masectomy, DIEP flap surgery and nipple reconstruction (done in 3 separate surgeries). Dr. Tseng gave me such natural results with minimal bruising, and even the recovery felt as smooth as it could go. He listens to your concerns and gives options so you feel like you can weigh the pros and cons while making the best decisions for yourself. His powerpoint presentation at the initial meeting was also VERY helpful in seeing the different options and visual results.

Dr Charles Tseng is an absolute artist. The shape, size and overall feel of my breasts are very similar to before my mastectomies, just better. My stomach looks amazing. Dr. Tseng is compassionate and took the time to really explain each step and to answer all my questions. He is highly, highly skilled at what he does. I couldn't be happier with my results or my care from Dr. Tseng.

Dr. Tseng is an incredibly talented surgeon and artist, as well as a patient and kind human being. I had a double mastectomy where he performed immediate DIEP flap reconstruction with results that exceeded all my expectations. Even the nurses, who checked on me every hour for 3 days, marveled at his work and at the lack of bruising. At 3 months post surgery, my breasts are well proportioned and perky, my mommy tummy is gone, and the hypertrophic scarring that caused me so much worry never surfaced. The latter is a mystery to me and I chalk it up to his surgical precision as I had terrible scarring from prior surgeries (like my c-section), which he got rid of! As a 45-year old, I’m going to rock a bikini for the first time this summer.

Incredibly talented, empathetic, knowledgeable doctor. It is hard to put into words how I feel about Dr. Tseng because there are no words powerful enough to express my gratitude. I was diagnosed with breast cancer Dec. 2019 and had a double mastectomy in Feb. 2020 (by Dr. Maggie DiNome). Dr. Tseng managed my reconstruction. During our first meeting, he reviewed in detail using a PowerPoint presentation, my options. This helped me visualize the process, understand what to expect and put me at ease after I saw the true artist Dr. Tseng is. Dr. Tseng turned a tragic and very emotional journey into something that was manageable with amazing outcomes. He truly cares for his patients. He chose reconstruction as his emphasis because he wants to help women, who have already endured so much, feel confident and make a positive difference in their lives. He successfully has done that for me.

Dr. Tseng listens well and answers my list of concerns every visit, or online. He was there to help after 3 surgeries when I was concerned with healing. HE IS AN ARTIST of plastic surgery!! Had a double mastectomy with diep flap surgery due to BRCA 1. He modeled breasts out of stomach fat and they are perfectly sized and shaped for my body. His entire staff at the UCLA Med Group are all outstanding, compassionate and efficient!

Dr. Tseng is an outstanding surgeon. He asks questions and listens for your answers. While going through the reconstruction process is not a choice, your choice of surgeon is.

I had an awesome experience with Dr. Tseng from the start to finish. I was referred to Dr. Tseng by my primary care physician at UCLA. I scheduled a consultation about 1 year in advance to have my Saline breast implants removed. From the initial consultation, I felt Dr. Tseng listened to my concerns, was friendly, and explained the surgery thoroughly. I trusted him and felt confident he would do a great job with my capsulectomy surgery. My surgery went smooth with minimal downtime and pain. I'm a year post-op and feel great. I'm so happy I had the surgery with Dr. Tseng and at UCLA.

Dr. Tseng did a breast and nipple reconstruction after my unilateral (one breast) mastectomy. I'm very pleased with the results. The reconstructed breast and nipple look very natural. I had no problems with my recovery. He and his staff were very nice and very responsive. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I would def recommend Dr. Tseng if someone is considering DIEP flap surgery. He is a super skilled surgeon/ARTIST. I had my left breast reconstruction and he created almost symmetrical one with my right breast. I am very happy with the outcome. Also his office staff are excellent. Dr. Tseng came highly recommended. I was so nervous to see my reconstructed breasts, and I was thrilled when I finally saw them. Dr. Tseng is a perfectionist and a true artist. Every doctor that has seen my breasts since, comments on what an amazing job he did. The DIEP flap procedure is a complicated one that requires extensive training in microsurgery. Dr. Tseng completes 2-3 of these surgeries a week and his level of expertise shows. I would recommend Dr. Tseng in a heartbeat!

Insensitive. Haphazard. Inexperienced. He takes your surgery into his own hands & does what he wants not what you request/ agree upon and then you have to live with it or pay him to fix his botched work. Then he laughs & blames it on you.

I highly recommend Dr. Tseng. He did my breast reconstruction using a DIEP flap after a partial mastectomy. My reconstruction feels and looks very natural. The scars in my breast and belly are healing well and will likely be nearly undetectable once they are fully healed. Dr. Tseng is meticulous and has a great artistic eye, and I'm thankful considering his handiwork and surgical skill will be displayed on my body for the rest of my life. He has a great bedside manner and has been amazing.

Dr. Tseng performed a breast reduction surgery on me in November -- and I am thrilled with the results.
