Dr. Charu Trivedi, MD

Toledo Clinic Cancer Center Monroe 800 STEWART ROAD ‚MONROE,M1,48162- 4226 10/11/2022 08:15 AM This is what happened to me while I was a patient of dr charu l trivedi Dr. Charu L. Trivedi I was sent to the Toledo cancer institute on Stewart Road by my doctor ,DR Dona. My red blood cells and white blood cells were low. My energy levels were very low also. DR TRIVEDI Ordered blood work every week for two months. Plus an ultrasound on my liver was done . Plus a bone marrow was also done.First time I saw her , I filled out forms, about my family health history. She asked about my history of smoking, alcohol use. I told her I used to drink years ago, pretty heavy. Have not touched alcohol in years, as I told her I have gout. I also told her that I eat marijuana because it helps with my muscle spasms .I also told her I use to do cocaine many years ago. (She immediately judge me because of my past, I could tell.)I was scheduled to have a shoulder replacement on November 10. When I told Dr James Moravek (my orthopedic surgeon)about my low blood platelets. he had concerns about going ahead with the surgery. When I mentioned this to Dr. Triveni she said my platelets weren’t that low ,she said she would write a letter if I needed one. Well I needed one .I asked her for the letter and they sent it to my doctor.. The next time I went to see Dr. Trivedi for results of blood work ,that I’ve been doing. I was one of her first. Patient ,the computers weren’t working. She was very mad ,hollering at her secretary to get the computer fixed. Then she turns to me and tells me I put her under pressure ,over that letter. She says to me ,and you still haven’t even had the surgery. (Surgery was done on November 10 like I said it would be.)I said to her :doctors Plan surgeries months ahead.You said it was no problem writing a letter about my platelets .I then I asked her about my blood work. She turns to me and says I’m not God. I said ,I know you’re not God, I know nobody lives forever. I just want to know what’s going on with me. ( my blood ,energy)She says ,well I’m not a liver doctor ,your problems are in your liver and spleen. Which I already knew from the ultrasound that I have an enlarged liver and spleen..Then she turns to me real angrily and tells me that I have to accept responsibility for the things that I have done to my body. I said excuse me, I wouldn’t be here talking to you if I haven’t taken responsibility for what I have done to my body in the past .I really believe she thought I was still doing cocaine, and drinking.She talked to me like I was dirt under her feet..Then she puts her hands out to me and says ,have a nice day, God bless you. I feel sorry for the people that have to work for this Doctor.I feel sorry for the people Who are dying of lung cancer., or any cancer.This woman has zero feelings or empathy. she thinks she’s GOD I am 65 years old, I have changed my diet over the years, I have changed my lifestyle over the years. If I did not do these things ,I would not be here today. I feel this woman has no right to yell at me over what I did 40 -50 years ago. we all have made mistakes, in our lives. Like I said she has zero empathy. I will never go to this woman for anything the rest of my life

Dr. Trivedi is very unprofessional. Telling patients "do I have to do everything" and not knowing the history of the patient that is being seen. Coming from a nurse that works with doctors every day, Dr. Trivedi isn't one I'd ever recommend!

She is not the doctor for you if you are taking care of a loved one and you have a busy schedule and you have to continue to work to support your household. She thinks that you should be at her beacon call when it comes to their scheduling. They set a schedule and then change it. As for ease of scheduling appointments it is great. They schedule them for without your knowledge. She has too much on her plate she should cut back on the number of patients she sees or hire another oncologist

Dr. Trivedi treated my son. Dr. Trivedi and her caring staff are wonderful! Always there when you needed them. She helped my son to live longer than anyone thought possible. I highly recommend her and her staff.

Dr. Trivedi is an excellent oncologist & definitely has the best interest of her patients. My husband struggled for years in receiving care from some of the larger cancer centers in southeast Michigan. Within days, Dr. Trivedi diagnosed my husband & started a plan of care to treat him. We are entirely grateful & thankful for her kind heart & expertise.

My mother has been a patient for over 7 years and has been told from another doctor she has muliple myloma!
