Knowledgeable, direct, and very caring.
I've been a patient of Dr. Babaria for over 2 years and as I've gotten to get to know him better I'm finding out just how deep his experience is. He can almost diagnose you just with a look. His methods are old school and tried and true. I've grown to respect this doctor's knowledge and diagnoses. Both my wife and I think he's the best. So is his staff.

Not perfect, but very caring
My mom has been seeing him for 10 years. She has a lot of issues and his care for her has been so greatly appreciated by her family. We love, Dr. Barbaria, and as far as the nurses are the assistance go, he gives clinical hours to college students. He has so much experience so much knowledge and such a good heart. Now for my -1 star for some reason it is difficult to get the communication to the specialist or anything clerical seems to be difficult at times. It definitely could use some improvement.

Worst Doctor's Office Experience I Ever Had
I've never had a worse experience with a doctor's office. I went in for my preventive checkup and biometric bloodwork screening in order to save $200-$300 on my insurance premium. However, they were not honest and upfront about their fees. I made clear I was only setting up an appointment for preventive care to get my insurance premium and nothing else. They did not inform me of a $200 new patient fee, and after the fact tacked on an "advanced care planning" fee because I filled out a form in my mountain of new patient paperwork asking if I would consent to receive CPR if needed (they also said it's legally mandatory that I fill out that form to even get preventive care). After getting bounced around between the office and the billing company, I got nowhere with people who absolutely did not seem to care and just threatened to send me to collections. I had to pay $267.57 in fees out of pocket, completely negating the preventive savings. Dishonest, not upfront on fees. I won't be back.

I've been seeing Dr. Babaria for quite some time now. Although, I would consider him a good person and good doctor, I cannot in good faith refer his office to anyone that I know. I can't remember the last time that I was seen within a half hour of my appointment time. My last appointment was scheduled for 4pm and Dr. Babaria did not see me until 5:55. Every nurse or nursing assistant that you see before seeing the Dr hates working there and there's a high turn around. If you enjoy wasting your day waiting to see your Dr then this is the right office for you.

He is NOT THOROUGH. He spends 5 mins with us each time we go to him! I requested a physical. He checked my breathing and his MA only checked my eyes and billed my insurance company hundreds of dollars! I am pissed.

Dr. Barbaria has been my primary for 9 years. As someone who has specific patient needs; diabetes, thyroid & kidney disease- I know I can count on him. He is a wealth of knowledge & is truly amazing diagnostically! Dr. B is caring and kind, he listens and truly has a gift. I also like the fact that he is cautious NOT to overmedicate. He treats my entire family-and is great with children. If you are looking for an old fashioned type of office & care, Dr. B is for you. He has become like family to me! I feel fortunate to have him as my provider in this time in our history!

We will not be going to Dr. Barbaria for my fiance Eric any further. We are still waiting for the office to Email or mail us the results from the second round of blood work!!! Very unprofessional office. I am about ready to report the NPI number. Can never leave a message as the voice mail is always full. You call and they give you the run around. We want Eric's blood results and if we do not we will be making a report on withholding his results.

Dr. Babaria is OK but his office staff is awful. I've been waiting close to 3 weeks to get prescriptions refilled. I was in the office one week ago and again requested the refills. Now I'm out of 2 or the 4 medications I need and after calling to check on them again, they're still not done. I've also been waiting for over a week for referrals to be sent. I'm changing doctors now. I can't deal with this imcompetence.

Staff has poor billing and scheduling practices. Wife and I both went in for a annual physical and specified that we only want done what is covered by our insurance as preventative. I still got a bill for my physical and my wife's physical which was $80 greater than mine. 1 Call, 1 hour in office and a meeting with the doctor later, just received 3rd incorrect bill today. FYI they also say they must include hearing and vision testing even if not required by Cigna for physical! Overbooked also.
