Horrible experiences
Dr. Cheri Johnston is judgmental, sarcastic, and belittling. She is also incompetent and unprofessional. Do not expect her or her office staff to respond to urgent patient portal messages or telephone calls. Attempts to reach her are absolutely futile and frustrating. Not sure how she retains any patients at all.

Not a good experience
My last visit took over two hours waiting in the exam room. It was a routine wellness exam and nobody seemed to know why I was there. The doctor literally spent 5 minutes with me. They seem to be pushing telehealth and attempting to overlap care by other specialists I see.

Dismissive
For the first few appointments she was great and really listened, but more recently she’s been dismissive. I’ve gone to appointments with a list of a few things I’m needing to discuss and she completely ignores them and orders labs that aren?t relevant. She’s rushed the last few appointments and even left for lunch when she said she’d be right back. I was left alone in the office for 40 minutes.

Other than wait times, which may seem long, but indicates she spends more time with each patient in my opinion. I've been seeing her for 20 years.

Dr. Johnston had me on a Diuretic for my blood pressure and I have had a lot of urinary and incontinence issues imagine my chagrin when I went to a different doctor and they took me off the diuretic immediately .. I’m hoping my kidneys are ok .. I feel Dr. Johnston totally dropped the ball and I have gone to her for 10 yrs.. no more.. no thank you .. she is so preoccupied with my getting a colon scope and flu shot maybe before recommending me to a urologist and me almost having more surgery for that she should have looked at what meds she was prescribing for me.

I’ve been very happy with seeing dr Johnston for my medical needs. She takes her time and doesn’t rush through exams. She takes a thorough personal and family history. She also takes the time to hear your concerns and ask any questions you may have. For medications I have needed, she is very knowledgeable and informed. As a provider I think she is great and will continue to see her for my needs.

I went in for a routine check-up. It took 15 minutes. Dr. Johnston billed me for "treatment". This cost in total over $1200, after insurance $600+. Her office was rude when discussing the excessive charges.
