This women still has a license?
Shocking that Dr. Hauptmeier O.D. still practices in UValde TX! Was a patient with Dr. Garza M.D. at Uvalde Family Practice before he sold out the practice to Wegrzyn M.D. and Hauptmeier O.D.. Ended up stuck with this supposed doctor Hauptmeier who was neither an M.D. or remotely competent. She did not consult over a decade of medical records or treat the issues Dr. Garza had treated for years. Then Covid19 hit and she disappeared completely. Does she really stilll work in Uvalde? What a shame. Other reviews indicate she now works at Uvalde Surgical and medical Associates, hasn't Uvalde suffered enough? Warning to all my friends in the area don't go anywhere near this O.D. Much love to the UValde community, but please stay away from this women if you have any, and I mean ANY, other choice. Wow, I am truly amazed Hauptmeier has found a way to still work in Uvalde. Are the other members of Uvalde Surgical and medical Associates aware of her history or just ignoring it? Shocked!

Carefully consider this D.O.
Incredibly unprepared (did not review records) and makes false assumptions and provides very bad advice. Did not even know diagnoses and failed to prescribe appropriate medications. As title states 'Carefully consider this D.O.'.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR, DO NOT GO TO HER!!!
THE STAFF KNOWS HOW THIS DR. IS, IF HER STAFF KNOWS HOW SHE IS AND DOESN'T TEND TO HER PATIENTS, WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO GO TO HER! HORRIBLE, WE ARE REPORTING HER!!

Dr. Hauptmeier is an excellent Dr and we are so happy to have found her! She delivered our first baby and has been absolutely amazing through it all! We now see her for all of our family needs. She really listens to her patients and cares about their concerns. I would recommend her to anyone! She really goes the extra mile.
