Dr. Cheryl Effron, MD

Dr. Effron was able to help my child with a correct diagnosis and treatment after 3 doctors had failed. She is so knowledgeable and kind and I trust her medical judgement completely. I also was able to benefit from her amazing sunscreen. I have super sensitive skin and I have tried so many other sunscreens and would get an allergic reaction. Her sunscreen is so soothing on my face that it is the only one that I use. She also has helped out my family members with skin cancer issues and comes highly recommended. She is excellent and I am extremely happy and grateful with her and her staff.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Effron for 40years. Yes sometimes I have longer wait times, but her knowledge of ALL types of skin issues is worth the wait.

I went in for a routine/preventive visit to ensure I didn’t have an abnormal spots based on what a previous dermatologist found. They billed as a new patient and my insurance didn’t cover and were unwilling to make the adjustment to bill accordingly as a preventive visit. The visit was less than stellar, Dr. Effron looked over my skin for a total of 10 minutes and I spent more time waiting around than anything. I felt like she didn’t take the time to do a thorough full body review to address my concerns. Planning on finding a new dermatologist office in the future.

When is an appointment not an appointment? When it's with Cheryl Effron, MD. I waited three months for an appointment and went to Effron's office only to be told that the doctor wasn't in. I showed the rude front desk lady my appointment card and she said that they send out letters and phoned clients to tell them that all appointments for the day were cancelled. Lies. I never received a letter, call, voicemail, or text message. I paid for an overpriced consultation for a procedure that never happened. Their next appointment was three weeks away. Two weeks after I'll leave for a three month trip. What a waste of time and money!

Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr Effron for well over 10 years. We have seen her for skin cancer treatment, cysts, skin checks for moles and other discolorations and she has exceeded our expectations in her professionalism and treatment of all these issues. She has also treated me for cosmetic procedures and is very honest and fair in her assessments and treatments. I have no reservations in saying I completely trust Dr Effron as a reliable, professional and caring physician

I have been seeing doctor Cheryl Effron for over 20 years easily. She is a marvelous doctor. She works miracles! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. And she is cautious and also cares for her patients. Her staff is also very professional. I have had to see other dermatologists over the years because of being in a different country or state; she has ALWAYS been the best overall. With pricing and most importantly her miracles.
