A rare gem! I come from generations of doctors and, I like to think I have an idea of the type of care patients SHOULD have in this country. This gentleman should set the standard for all doctors in this and generations to follow! He is brilliant, has wonderful bedtime matters, will sit and listen to you, you never feel rushed by this man. You can tell he is truly dedicated to his patients. He allows you to reach out to him via email if needed and responds almost immediately, just about every single time I have. Even on a Sunday night! You don't come across a doctor like this often. Thank you Dr. Shum for keeping me healthy and supporting me throughout the years!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shum for nearly 15 years. He’s courteous and takes the time to get to the bottom of problems. I live in New Jersey, but I still travel to Manhattan to keep Dr. Shum as my doctor.

Dr. Chi Shum is by far one of the best doctors in NYC. I have been seeing him for the past 6 years. He is patient, listens, does not rush you and is very thorough. He has a wonderful staff who are friendly and will do their best to fit you in last minute. He lets you wait if you don't have an appointment and is accommodating even when very busy. 5 stars overall. Highly recommend

Dr Shum is a five star doctor. He really takes care of the patients well. The only reason I gave 4 star because the receptionist is rude and is not at all courteous (which should be a basic trait in customer service). If this is something that doc can improve I will visit the doc again, else no.

I saw Dr. Shum in May for an annual check up. My insurance usually covers all annual check ups including copay. 5 months later, I get a bill for more than $300 for that visit from BioLabs?! How is that even possible? I'll never go back again. So misleading.
