Dr. Chinelo Ikpeama, MD

I was on Google looking for a dermatologist when I came across her and remembered I have seen her one time. I’ll never forget her. She came in and was literally in the room maybe two minutes maybe I spent more time in the waiting lobby then in the actual exam room was no solutions. so looks like I’ll be driving to Kingwood to see someone else.

She is a very intelegent and caring doctor. Listens to your symptoms and follows up on each appointment.

She is a wonderful person and a lovely doctor who really cares about her patients

Dr. Ikpeama is a good doctor. She is caring and very knowledgeable. She has helped me with my autoimmune skin condition.

I was in extreme pain due to second degree burns. Dr. Ikpeama was attentive and talked me through the process. I really appreciate that, because was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in my life.

Dr. Ikpeama was very detailed when the initial diagnosis turn out to be more concerning than expected, before the biopsy came back she took immediate action. She is always willing to answer my questions, before leaving the room she wants to make sure there is nothing else needed or check to see if there are any concerns. She is a excellent doctor- I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Ikpeama-Fangtang provides care that is respectful of and responsive to my needs. She has been caring for me as a patient for over a year and has good bedside manner.

Dr. Ikpeama barely acknowledged us when I took my daughter in for treatment. We were seen mainly by nurses. I repeatedly asked for a diagnoses and asked Dr. Ikpeama to test the sample which she never did. She made false accusations based on her observation which turned out to be wrong after I had to search for a second opinion and the other dermatologist took the time to test the sample. She was rude and barely acknowledged us. Attorneys had to get involved. This experience traumatized my daughter and put our family in distress as we tried to get our daughter help. My daughter finally got the proper diagnoses and treatment through UT Physicians. If I could I would give 0 stars.

She took biopsies of my ear and notified me right away that action was needed immediately. Just finished radiation and all is looking good.

Dr. Ikpeama is very professional as well as personable. She listens intently, provides her advice on how aggressive she’s willing to treat your issue, and allows you to address any additional concerns to make the decision about your treatment. Her staff is also very attentive, follows up after your initial visit and makes personal reminder calls prior to your next appointment. After my visits with Dr. Ikpeama, I’m usually focused on my progress or my next steps. So, it’s really great that she will have already notified the check-out team when to schedule my next appointment, because I would have forgotten. The entire office seems to operate extremely well and shows how much they appreciate your time.
