Dr. Chitra Lal, MD

Dr. Lal might be a direct person, but she is efficient. She never just simply slapped a C-PAP on me. She set up the appropriate sleep study, we spoke about the results. I knew I would have sleep apnea. Pretty sure my ignoring it for years caused my blood clots. She got me set up on the right titrations, my sleep is excellent now. I don’t wake up with horrible headaches. If I could change one thing it would be having appointments be easier. I have no vehicle so getting out to my pleasant isn’t easy for me as I can’t afford uber or Lyft out there and I don’t know people locally. So video visits would work better.

Virtual visit, doctor wanted to prescribe CPAP before doing the sleep test. When results came in from the test doctor overstated the results and tried to pressure me into a CPAP. Took sleep test results to new doctor who worked with me on a care plan. Very shady practice in my opinion to try to prescribe an expensive machine without test results and overstating the results in an attempt to pressure me into the expensive device.

Dr. Lal is the worst Dr. I have been to see. She is arrogant and unable to listen because she cuts you off mid sentence. She doesn't take into consideration what her colleagues have diagnosed or prescribed and takes you off your treatment and will not prescribe your medication that you have taken for 20 yrs. to be able to stay awake. She is belittling and accusatory. I gave her the benefit of the doubt after reading her reviews when I should have listened. Anyone reading this, please listen. She is not fit to be a Dr.

First sentence Dr. Lal spoke to patient was "I'm not a doctor that diagnosis." No further information provided. Very disconnected, never looked at patient, questioned care and only ordered testes that were just done recently. Very disappointed and felt it was a waited trip and co-pay

I have severe sleep apnea. I had a video session with Dr. Lal due to COVID. She had me tested and set up with a CPAP machine that has changed my life.
