Easy to get appt but messy billing
We have been with this office for like 2-3 years. They are pretty friendly and easy to get an appointment, doctor's helpful. However the billing is pretty messy. Once they didn't send the correct info to the Quest for annual check up, I ended up calling them and Quest lab at least 3 or 4 times to fix that. Another time they over changed me for an office visit, pretty simple stuff but still see they made mistake. Don't trust their billing, sort out with your own insurance if you have any doubts.

Dr. Liu has always provided me with excellent service and care. My friends who see other doctors complain constantly about their doctor's failure to complete referrals when necessary. I have never had a delay or failure in receiving a referral. Her office is always prompt in dealing with Optum (which I find much less than helpful when I call them) to approve my prescriptions. Appointments are easy to make, and my wait times have been short in all but one instance a few years ago, when I was in on a Saturday and she had an urgent patient ahead of me. Yes, I said Saturday. Unheard of in my past with other doctors.

If I could give her less then 1 would. This is a horrible doctor. Her goals is to prescribe you as many pills as she can and do those test in her office so she can bill your insurance. She doesn’t consider the possible negative interaction between the drugs she’s giving you. you don’t research that information yourself before taking medication you will cause you’re self irreversible damage. Then when you call to assess your research findings she will tell you “she didn’t know that”. Her front office staff are young girls who have zero clue what to do. Referrals are never done in a timely manner. They drag their feet on everything. I URGE you please don’t go to this doctors office. This doctor is only concerned about billing the most she can to your insurance company. She doesn’t even recognize when a referral to a specialist should be considered. I literally had to research my own systems an advocate for myself for referrals. Lastly, don’t trust her referrals.

1st time annual check-up for me and my daughter. After 40 mins of waiting the nurse called both us. I had to make a different appt because I was told by one of the impolite receptionist that this doctor was not my pcp. I was prepared and updated 7 days ago with my insurance. I showed my insurance ID, and even had my insurance rep called to this office. But still didn't accept in. The nurse and the doctor provided with very limit time for my daughter. No chance to ask questions.

I went to this doctor because she is a pre-approved provider for immigration medical exams. It was a battle when I asked for a itemized bill of the services provided and costs. I was told at least 5 times that my out of pocket expenses were not covered by my insurance and they had already submitted the items that are covered. In the end, I did not get the receipt I wanted. Instead I got a form with numbers circled indicating injections given but without costs. She's hiding something.

The guy at the front office never being friendly. My daughter had a visit for immunization recently which is covered by insurance 100%, but they made her pay 80$, she is not aware that she does not need to pay and they did nothing and told her you are earlier for the shot, come next month, but they they made her to pay anyway. I consider this charge is not even legit ... You make the decision yourself. Appointment always easy may be because they are not nice ... I decide not go to there anymore
