Dr Hefner ordered a myelogram in addition to all the other test I had already had, seeking cause for my symptoms. Dr performing test pointed out spinal compression. 2 weeks after, Dr. Hefner's nurse contacted me saying there was no need for Dr. Hefner's services. After seeking a second opinion, I had 4 vertebrae fussed and existing hardware removed to decompress my spine. I am 2 weeks out from surgery and on my way to recovery. Thank you to Dr Hadi and St. Anthony's Hospital.

Man of great care and compassion. My injury was such that based on the MRI, he planned surgery for me. After testing and personal touch identified and explained necessary procedure. I have recommended to family, friends, and coworkers who have also received excellent care. While in process for injury found degenerative damage to neck which caused severe pain in shoulder, elbow, hand, and fingers. It had been misdiagnosed as torn rotator cuff and possible carpel tunnel syndrome. now healed.

I immediately liked Dr Heffner when I first met him. As a retired RN, I am very particular when choosing my doctors. His demeanor was comforting. I had been dealing with severe pain for 6 mos. Now, just 4 weeks post op, ALL of my stabbing, burning, penetrating, and radiating pain is GONE. GREAT JOB Dr Heffner!!!!!

I use to think that all surgeons were ready to cut on someone at the drop of a dime, but Dr. Heffner made me feel like I had multiple options and provide outstanding explanations on the positives and negatives of whatever decision I chose. Every time I have visited him and his office, him and his staff are very pleasant people.
