Avoid Dr. Hardaway at all costs! As others have correctly pointed out, this doctor is solely focused on making money, with zero regard for patient care. I came to her in April with a wart that I’ve had for four years, after seeing two other specialists who almost managed to remove it, only for it to return. I explained this history to her, and she confidently claimed she could “definitely” get rid of it. Fast forward five months and after shelling out over $1,100 out of pocket, she now tells me that there's a high chance the wart will return, no matter what she does! Seriously? She could have been upfront about this from the beginning instead of wasting my time and money. Her appointments are an absolute joke—each one lasting less than 10 minutes, during which she’s in a rush to get out of the room. If you don't have your questions prepared and ready to fire off, forget it—you won’t have time to discuss anything. Worse, if I thought of a question during the visit, I had to ask the medical assistant to relay it to her while waiting in the lobby like some kind of afterthought. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism. Dr. Hardaway doesn’t care about her patients—just the money rolling in from their wallets. I wouldn’t trust her with any part of my healthcare. Stay far, far away!

Sadly Dr Hardaway seems extremely rushed. She had no time to preview patient history already submitted nor review the information taken by her medical assistant. Hence she wasted appointment time asking redundant questions. She seems very knowledgeable but she doesn’t seem to have time to practice as I assess that she would like to practice. I was so sad for her when I left.

Disregarded and overcharged
This Doctor's office is terrible! I went in to see Dr. Christina Hardaway. She is a dermatologist. She was very condescending and does not listen to what you want. She ignored what I asked for and did what she thought I needed and I ended up with a huge bill for lab testing that had already been done, as well as a bill from her office. When I called the office to dispute this charge, I was pushed off by several people and no one would listen to me. I started paying my bills in small amounts until I could resolve the matter and I was still sent to collections because it wasn't large enough amounts!!! They are awful. I would avoid them at all costs!

Great Physician, Great Experience
I was referred to Dr. Hardaway for chronic eczema which I’ve been seeing other doctors for 20 years. Her exams are always very complete, and she explains her diagnosis and the reasons for the prescribed treatment. She changed my medications and I’ve seen so much improvement it’s nearly been entirely eliminated. I’ve always been seen precisely on time and yet she never seems rushed, is so very pleasant and patiently answers all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Hardaway.

Focused, attentive and responsive
I've been seeing Dr. Hardaway for more than a year now for a rather uncommon skin condition the underlying cause of which is not known (an aspect I verified independently), and my treatment has been essentially one of symptom control. She has always seemed to be on a tight schedule in her office -- but she has always been focused, attentive, and responsive to my condition, my general health status, and to any specific questions or comments I've posed. She's a solid pro.

Our unfortunate lesson today with Dr. Hardaway’s office was my worst exchange with a medical office in many years. I called to say we were running 15 minutes late for my minor daughter’s 8:30 AM appointment. They told me not to bother coming, that we wouldn’t be seen and that we are not allowed to reschedule since we ‘missed’ our first appointment. Wait, what?! My other child and myself are already established patients there, but this doctor won’t see one of my children EVER because we were 15 minutes late for the appointment? I take responsibility for not anticipating the traffic on the commute from Silverdale to Port Orchard. Our family has a history in this office of being there on time, every time… for YEARS! This experience certainly felt like a way to keep Medicaid patients out. This was a harsh consequence for a 1st time, minor infraction. I don’t believe for one second that this policy would be as swiftly executed if we weren’t on state insurance. This was unreasonable

My son is seeing her for acne for over three years. I do not feel that she listens to his concerns, or mine, about how this is affecting his personality. She discounts the fact that he is extremely embarrassed and not wanting to be social. He is 16! In fact, she prescribed a medication that caused it to become worse. I will keep looking for a new doctor for my son.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hardaway for three years. I left my previous dermatologist because I didn't feel confident with the care she took when doing my annual skin cancer body exam. Have had many pre-cancerous lesions removed and it's much too important/serious than to have a dermatologist do a "gloss over" in my opinion. My experience has been great from the very beginning with Dr. Hardaway and her office staff. She's an excellent listener, takes her time, explains everything very clearly, and not an alarmist - just can't ask for more in my opinion. I'm a nervous patient to begin with but with Dr. Hardaway I feel at ease. Last year she removed a squamous cell carcinoma from my upper leg. It all went very well and it healed beautifully. I'm happy to say I now see Dr. Hardaway twice a year - not a problem because she's a joy to see. I have and would recommended Dr. Hardaway to my family and friends. (: (:

Terrible. Please read the other reviews and take them to heart. When I saw Dr. Hardaway I had to wait over 1.5 hours for her to come in and look at my skin for 90 seconds tops. Don't make an appointment with Dr. Christine Hardaway if you value your time. She clearly doesn't care about her patients' time at all.

Former Patient in Bainbridge Island, WA – Jun 04, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Hardaway?
I had an appt on 5-7-19, after waiting almost 3 months to be a new patient, & after I got there I was told all new patient appts were only 15 minutes & I was shocked. When I got in the room a young lady came in to put information in the computer & I had 2 biopsy report copies I had brought with me to discuss. When I mentioned the 2nd report, she went to ask Dr. Hardaway & the doctor said no & I would have to make another appt to discuss the 2nd item. I was very angry so I got up & walked out & told the young lady & the front desk they better not try to bill Medicare & they said they wouldn't. Several years ago when I was in AZ I waited 2.5 hours in the waiting room for another doctor & the staff told me they had been complaining to him for years that he overbooked. When I got in the room with that doctor the first thing I did is ask him if he would like to make an appt with me to get his taxes done & wait 2.5 hours and he said NO. So I sent him a bill for my time and he paid it.
